The true teachings of Jesus

The apostles are part of the group of 144,000= The little flock( Luke 12:32) Peter was married thus not a virgin to women. So it is signifying the Whore of babylon( false religion)

Where does it say the Apostles are part of the group of 144,000? Verse please?

144,000 is not a little flock by any definition.

Besides, St. John was writing what he saw. He didn't see himself in the crowd!

Jesus made a covenant with the little flock at the last supper. Only the apostles were there, not followers. He sent Judas away before he made the covenant. That covenant was Rev 1:6, Rev 20:6--to rule as kings and priests alongside of Jesus on thrones.
It is a little flock-they are numbered--The great crowd, no man can number-Only those are promised to enter Gods kingdom in the bible. Then later a resurrection occurs. So the 144,000 has to be the little flock.

The New Testament is exactly what Jesus taught.

Yes-John 20:17, Rev 3:12--He has a God just like we do. He taught all who that God is after warning about all other Gods being False-John 4:22-24--The Father)--Same with Paul at 1 Cor 8:5-6 he warns all about their false Gods then names only the Father as God. So someone is in error--its not Jesus or Paul--Its the house divided( 34,000 trinity based religions) that will not stand. A disunified mass of confusion-1Cor 1:10--they fail this true mark 100%

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. John 8:56-59

  • Why did the Jews pick up stones to put Jesus to death for saying He was I Am?

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God. Exodus 3:1-6

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.’ ”
Exodus 3:14

The scriptures teach us the Spirit of Christ was in the prophets, and they spoke by the Spirit of Christ. —

Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 1 Peter 1:9-10

The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. Zechariah 12:1,10

The scriptures teach us the Son, created the heavens and the earth —

But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

The same reasoning behind them saying Jesus received his power from satan= hate filled hearts do not speak truth.
And there is no - i am that i am in the Hebrew OT--I will be what i will be is the correct translating of that Hebrew statement. It was altered in only trinity translation-to mislead.

There have been billions of humans alive since Jesus day. 144,000 is very little compared to the numbers.
But you argued the 12 is what Jesus called a little flock. If 12 is the baseline for little, I don't see how you can argue 144,000 is little.

Jesus words are clear.

If you want to try and explain away His words referring to Himself as the Lord God, and also the reaction of the Jews who picked up stones to kill Him for stating He was indeed the God of Abraham, then that is your choice.

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. John 8:58-59

I said only part of the little flock was present at the last supper. It was 11, Jesus sent Judas away before he made the special covenant with them.

I agree Jesus words are clear. He answered their question honestly, he lived before Abraham. He did not say he was the God of Abraham, where do you get that?

Jesus plainly stated these words, and the Jews understood Him perfectly well, and picked up stones to murder Him because He clearly stated that He was I AM: The God of Abraham.

God the Father says the same of His Son; that His Son is the creator of the heavens and the earth.

But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

Do you believe the testimony of God the Father?

Peter says it this way --

Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 1 Peter 1:10-11

The prophets of the old testament spoke by the Spirit of Christ; the Spirit of the Lord God.

Whenever we see the phrase "thus says the Lord" it is the Spirit of Christ speaking.

Example:

The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: Zechariah 12:1

We just saw from Hebrews that the Father plainly stated that this work of stretching out the heavens and laying the foundation of the earth was the work of His Son.

Peter, in his second epistle, also refers to Jesus Christ as our great God and Savior.

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
2 Peter 1:1

Paul also says this -

looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, Titus 2:13

Concerning the blessed hope, the return of Jesus Christ with His saints from heaven, the Spirit of Christ through the mouth of Zechariah says this:

1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the LORD my God will come,
And all the saints with You. Zechariah 14:1-5

The non apostocised Jews knew 100% the messiah has a God-Psalm 45:7--Those making the lie up about Jesus were apostocised, their hearts were filled with hatred for Jesus, they did not speak truth about him- even once. They taught he received his power from satan. They said it was impossible for Jesus and his apostles to be spiritual teachers because they did not attend their schools of men. No truth about about Jesus came out of them. Are those the men you will believe?

No scripture again.

I explained that to you--There is one flock but separated into 2 groups. One is called the little flock-they are numbered=144,000--the great crowd which no man can number is not promised heaven any where in the bible. Thus that promise from Jesus at Matt 5:5 has to be to the great crowd, because the ones promised heaven are numbered.
They are referred to as a great crowd, but Jesus assures those who have entered the narrow gate are FEW who find the road to life. millions, not billions. 99% are being mislead into not entering Gods kingdom.
You never explained the resurrection-recreation to me. For example, JWs say Christ's body was dissolved into gasses. His soul/spirit died when the body died. So He passed into non-existence.

Then God resurrects-recreates Jesus in a "spirit-body" according to His Perfect Memory and He preaches to the spirits in prison?

18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,
20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
21 There is also an antitype which now saves us-- baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him. (1 Pet. 3:18-4:1 NKJ)

Do I have that correct?

Preaching to the spirits in prision was symbolism. There is no life in death. All thought stops on the day of ones death.
The resurrection for the majority will be in the flesh, and that occurs after Armageddon. Only the little flock will be raised into spirit life.
Yes the authorities and angels were made subject to him by the one he teaches is greater than him= his Father. If Jesus were God he would already have the authority.
Many believe there is kind of a spirit being living within them, but there isnt. In Genesis it says God breathed the breath of life into one and they became a living soul.
