The Two Dispensations

I did not say He built the tent , To build again the Tabernacle of David is not material, it is Spiritual (the relationship between David and the Lord) The Psalms of David will give you the walk he had with the Lord. He was a man after the Lords own heart. That is the Tabernacle of David to be rebuilt.

How do you know it's "spiritual"? And, what exactly does that mean?

Because what value does a tent have in righteousness? Even the Temple has no value in it's self; It does not become righteous or Holy till the Host of the Lord dwells with in. (Rev. 3:22) (2 Sam. 7:1-19) (1 Kings 8:1-11). The Tent or Tabernacle in the wilderness is where God dwelt and meet the people (Ex. 25:21-22) That is how you know it is Spiritual, that is where the Spirit of God dwelt, and that is what is meant by Spiritual. That is building again the tabernacle of David, where the King will dwell with God and righteousness will prevail. In the New Jerusalem. For a temple is not a Holy temple until the Lord dwell within, of which we are. (1 Cor. 3:16-17) (Rev. 21:3)

It seems to me that you've just decided it is spiritual. The word "spiritual" is the adjective form of of the word "spirit". The Greek and Hebrew words mean breath or wind. How is the Tabernacle of David breathual? What does that mean?

There is no answer for your question that would satisfy or bring understanding. For the Adamic nature can not receive the things of God, for it is Spiritual (of the Spirit) (1 Cor. 2:9-16) Your profile says you are a Christian. You should be able to understand these things or at least be able to receive them. As a Christian, tell me what you believe that I might better understand. For the answer to your question was in my last post.

The reason I asked my question is because I often find people use the term, spiritual, to protect a doctrinal position. I often hear things like your post above. Sometimes when I disagree with someone's position they'll say things like, 'it's spiritual' and that I must not have the Spirit if I don't agree with them. However, when I ask what this means they can't answer. I've seen plenty of people who claimed they got their doctrine from the Spirit and yet it flatly contradicts what is found in Scripture.

If something is "spiritual" we should know what "spiritual" is. How does one know what is "spiritual" and what is literal? Above you said Spiritual is of the Spirit.. That leads me to another question, was the original tabernacle of David spiritual or was it real? If it was real and the passage says it will be raised again, how can that not be literal. If it's "spiritual" and not literal how can the passage use the word again, if it won't really be raised up again?

When I came to Christ, He called me by His word, by the preaching of the word. That is what drew me to Him. Because His word drew me, He let me see myself in the nature of men's virtue's, He also allowed me to see the nature of God in my heart. There was a contrast to my soul, I chose Christ (Romans 10:13-17). I did not join, He called me and drew me to Christ. (John 6:44-51)

That is a Spiritual act by God, by His Spirit, not by mans spirit. For the man who is seeking Christ being drawn by the word of God, and upon receiving Christ, God gave me a new man after the image of Christ, He never changed the old man, so now there is a battle and a conflict between the two. There is now, no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (hands or guardianship). And now having the Spirit of God, we are subject to Spiritual things (That are not contrary to doctrine or Scripture) by His Spirit in us. Any time a man says God taught him by His Spirit, and it does not agree with doctrine or Scripture, he is a liar. There is nothing new to be revealed. There may be thing some do not understand, but nevertheless, everything is set in motion. The kingdom of God has been at hand for over 2000 years, and will be fulfilled after all things are finished.

A temple or tent has no glory unless the Spirit of the Lord occupies it. Go back and study the Scriptures in the last post and you will see what I'am talking about.

Is forever, really forever.Aaron was told his sons would be before him forever.yet Jesus isn't the son of a Levi.
Absolutely. If God says that something is for ever, then neither you nor anyone else has the right to say it does not mean what it says. That is unbelief.

But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD: They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge. (Ezek 44:15,16).

Uhm if something stops,is that forever? Is death forever, and sin.no

So the sons of the jews are cursed.that's a curse.do you realize that Jesus took the curse of sin, all of it?forever?

You make God seem like and Indian giver.

The sons of moab, can't enter into the congregation,no dwarf, crook backed etc either. A curse on the gentiles mentioned before Is also back.

Jesus was planned to die in genesis.not aaron.the sons of Zadok are men and can't compare .the feasts all of it is back they are all forever. Meaning to atone once a year is needed at Yom Kippur. A gentile was not part of the convenent and could join but it's not really a direct command to go and make them Hebrews.

I can't attest to your personal experience, I can only take your word for. But I don't think what you posted here answers the questions. The passage speaks of the tabernacle of David being built again.

11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: (Amos 9:11 KJV)

16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: (Acts 15:16 KJV)
James quotes Amos and uses the word "again". How can James use the word again if this is not literal. How can He says God will build again the ruins thereof if this is not literal. If this was something "spiritual" then it wouldn't be again. To build up again implies what was there before will be there again.

If this was something "spiritual" then it wouldn't be again (The Lord's Spirit left the Tabernacle of David and His Spirit left the Temple) after Israel fell into idolatry under Solomon and the remainder of most of Israels kings. To build again means also that the Spirit would also return again with the building of the TABERNACLE. . To build up again implies what was there before will be there again.
I don't know how any better to explain it to you. Maybe this will help you to understand (Rev. 21:2-3)
