"The Word of Faith"

You can name it? "the word of doubt"
The first cast into the lake of fire are the fearful and unbelieving.
Jesus was never pleased with doubt! And always brought His strongest correction upon those who doubted as Thomas did.

So we have another teacher of false doctrine, who wants to write a book? lol
Everything in the scriptures bear witness against what you are trying to say! yet you do not seem to care nor do you seem be willing to yield to clear and evident truth? But you hope one day to get enough half truths together to write a book against biblical faith? and some wonder why a loving God, had to bring judgment upon men.

Everyone who knows faith knows exactly what edward is saying!
The canal mind cannot know the things of God? because they want a carnal evidence!
I will not believe unless I see? that is the carnal mind!
Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Poor old Thomas, saw Jesus raise the dead cast out devils give sight to the blind, cleanse the lepers Etc... But that old carnal mind was still in charge of his thinking.

No faith calleth those things that be not as if they were! We believe therefore we speak.
Faith is the confidence of things hoped for, the conviction of things NOT SEEN.

so the fearful and unbelieving will have their part in the lake of fire.
Then some will have the evidence they need, but then it will be too late.

I'll argue that the Thomas story doesn't mean what the majority think it does as soon as I'm well. But faith and evidence go hand in hand for large parts. You can't have faith in someone you know nothing about

Thomas knew very well who Jesus was and the things He did! Yet he still wanted evidence, That is unbelief!

Even if some See God do great things such as raise the dead! there hearts and minds are blinded by the flesh and the carnal mind. So thomas is an example of the unbelief of the carnal man. This should not be exalted as something good, but should be rebuked as Jesus did all those who got into fear and doubt.

Salvation and all the promises of God are a product of sincere childlike faith. Destruction comes upon those who reject true faith. They should be rebuked for their own good. Which I have done for you, you can thank me when we get to heaven, if you make it? Because if you must see it? you will never see it!

Who or what did Thomas actually doubt? Was Thomas the only one who needed evidence? Thomas may have constantly fought doubts but he was fully prepared to die for Jesus when he was on this earth.

What did thomas doubt? The Words of JESUS! because he told them all that He would be raised from the dead. The scriptures tell us that the Lord rebuked them all for their unbelief after His resurrection.

Being willing to die for a religion is not a sign of faith in Christ? Living faith is a sign of true faith!

And you have no evidence that Thomas was anything after this point of scripture, he was never mentioned again in the Word of God. Now if some have a written tradition of thomas? I would take it with a grain of salt?

Thomas questioned what he was told by the other disciples. As for rebuking Thomas, I don't see Jesus doing any such thing. Once I'm back home and well I will put the main outline on here and I don't need to appeal to anything outside the bible except for clarifying where he ended up (which was India) for the most part

Mark 16:14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT BELIEVE THOSE WHO HAD SEEN HIM AFTER HE HAD RISEN.

It's very different in johns account of both appearances to the disciples and Thomas

What? see that is the mind of doubt! That always looks for a reason to doubt the Word of God!

So are you suggesting that it did not happen? that John and Mark are both not very true?

Why not just be humble and admit that you where wrong? No! you had rather question a clear and evident statement of scripture to retain you doubt and carnal pride!

So Gods Word is wrong? and you are right?

Yes I see the fruit of your so called "faith"

I have no idea what that rants about. I didn't say John or mark was wrong. I merely pointed out the fact that John recalls the account very differently. I'm not questioning scripture, I'm questioning your interpretation of it. I think Thomas has an unfair reputation and one that is not supported by scripture. Once I'm home, I will lay out the basic premise and reasoning with scripture to support my view.

You can breath now

Well forgive me then? I thought you were attempting to say that the clear scripture really does not mean what it says?

So Jesus did rebuke them for their unbelief? which completes my point, that they doubted His Word and thomas was not a picture of faith, but of unbelief.
