There are HUNDREDS of churches believing different; CLAIMING the Bible is their source!

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ESV John 8:31

If we DO his word, we will come to know the truth and know that we know the truth. But doing his word, keeping his teachings is costly. This is how I know the Bible is true. I have tested it in real life and what it says happens, is what happens.

Jesus told them they would know the truth if they continued in his word. Of course they would - Jesus would not tell them falsehoods.
But that was then.
How do you get the truth now? Jesus is not here teaching you the truth now.

James 1:5- If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him.

Don't go to a church! PRAY!

Pray that the church you go to has leadership and members that pray, listen, look at creation, seek the higher gifts, and teach all things.

Jesus Christ is the Truth.

His teachings are the truth.
His commandments are the truth.
His gospel is the truth.

His kingdom is the kingdom of righteosness.

Have you been born again: born of the Spirit?


Do you hear His voice?

How do you get his teachings?
Biblically you get them from being taught them.
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation........And they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it.
(Mk 16:15&20)
All through Acts and the letters you will find that the gospel was preached by those to whom it had been given.
Paul teaches Timothy and then instructs him "what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust [teach] to faithful men who will be able to teach others also" (2Tim 2:2).

Yes you learn and are taught His doctrine.

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 1 John 2:27

We are taught the scriptures, which are the truth.


All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 316-17


We are not to learn denominational "theology" but rather we are to be taught the scriptures, led and guided by the Spirit.

Well when God's spirit is with you it GUIDES you to you to the TRUTH, all tho personal beliefs often get in the way!
It's then, like most here, KNOW what the truth is, but side with the churches.

I think its more the lack of humility whereby the person refuses to admit they learn from others and some of them know more then I do. I learned the match between Revelation and 70AD from others. The Bible was of no help. But I dropped inborn sin nature from reading when God spoke to Cain about sin. Got that from the Bible alone.

Based on this scripture, do ypu believe the Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of God?


But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
Romans 8:9
