did job say his fear before then? not likely. his kids had to be sinners. he offered for them. they answer to god. they if they were right(its not said one way or another) would have no need to atone for it was said clearly. so therefore I have doubts.
again fear isn't negated by faith just made smaller. have you faced death personally? I know personally god brought me through Afghanistan.

God said the whole thing was without cause, in vain, for no purpose. The Hebrew reads, stop trying to persuade me, trick me into hurting Job, to desstroy him for no reason or any cause.
It was Satan that asked God to harm Job. God just responded and said Job is already in your power. Hebdrew Word for "BEHOLD" or look and pay attention.
