Watch Out for the Jehovah Witness, their all over this board

Don't you all understand what is happening in this thread and many other threads? This board is infiltrated with Jehovah's Witnesses' doing their best to confuse the Christian.

Christians beware, just because this is a Christian BBS, doesn't mean everyone here are Christians. Furthermore the Jehovah Witnesses in not a Christian belief, although they like to make people think they are, they are in fact a cult. You must study Gods word so so you can identify false teachers, preachers.

I invite you to listen to two sermons specifically:

Knowing when to be Intolerant with the Cults

and

The Trinity

Squeakybro, are you a Jehovah's Witness?

we've asked his religion but he's never answered. Could be Oneness Pentecostal, JW or something but he's 100% pure anti-trinitarian for sure. He talks of nothing else.

Not long ago...

Scripture said:
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

I said:
Who spoke these words?

Still no answer and I expect none.

I attend a Oneness Pentecostal church. We belive (as do all Oneness belivers) that Jesus is God.

Trinity=3 Persons in the Godhead

Oneness=3 Manifestations of God

Its as simple as that.

you said
Squeakybro, are you a Jehovah's Witness?

I said
No I'm not. I'm just a christian. I am not affiliated with any denomination.

Oh really? What did the Apostle Thomas say about that?

I said
No he didnt. Thomas knew that God was in Christ. So how was he suppose to address Jesus. If he would of said just Lord he would have been ignoring God, If he would have just said God he would have been ignoring Jesus. So he addressed them both.

2 Cor 5:19
19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
(NKJ)

just like on judgment day people are going to try to address them both.

Luke 6:46
46 "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?
(NKJ)

Matt 7:21-23
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
(NKJ)

What an imagination you have Squeaky!

So Squeaky, are you trying to say that Thomas was NOT affirming that he believed Jesus to be God? Whose imagination are you trying to stretch, yours or everyone else’s? “My Lord and my God†That sure sounds like Thomas is talking to one in the same person to me! You know what else I think? I think ole “doubting Thomas†had finally come to the realization that Christ was in fact God, and he was simply affirming his belief. Or maybe Thomas was quoting David in Psalms 35:23 when he said “…my God and Lord†(NIV). In any case, we must realize that this is just one of may verses throughout the Bible which supports the doctrine of the Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all fully God, yet there is only one true God.

In John 10:10 Jesus says: “I and the Father are one†But I suppose you will want to pervert the meaning of that passage also, so go for it!

Me:

When I address Jesus I am addresing my Father.

44: Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45: And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. John 12:44-45

7: If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:7

He who has ears let him hear.

amen, brother. you said it. like I said in a prior post, if the born again Christians would STUDY the BIBLE like the Jehovah's witnesses do, they'd be able to fight the good fight of faith.
The cults and their members spend HOURS and DAYS and WEEKS studying the Bible, and memorizing THEIR heretical versions of the bible, and their add on commentaries. The goal is to ruin the Christian body.
And, if the Christians continue to be lazy, and refuse to study, study, study, they'll stumble, fall, and be sorely chastised.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.
God is Jesus, God is the Holy Spirit, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Holy Spirit.
Three in one. The Bible says it.
STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED.
STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED.
STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED.
STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED.
Christianity isn't a game. When will some of you learn that??

JESUS IS GOD. WHOEVER DOES NOT BELIEVE THIS, IS OF THE ANTICHRIST.
THIS IS ALLLLL IN YOUR BIBLES. I SUGGEST YOU READ ONE, REAL SOON.

supernac Jesus is Lord, not God. And if you believed Jesus you would know that you could fall from grace by posting them old testament verses.

Luke 16:16
16 "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.
(NKJ)

Matt 11:12-13
12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
(NKJ)

Gal 5:4
4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
(NKJ)

II Jn 1:7-11
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

SOME BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS GOD???????????
WHO BELIEVES THIS??????????????
Those Who Worship In The Flesh
In Ro 9-1,8 it explains that those who believe that Jesus is God are those who worship in the flesh not in the Spirit.
Paul explained it like this. He said he had great sorrow and continual grief in his heart over these people. He said it bothered him so much that according to his flesh and the way he felt, he could almost wish he were accursed from Christ for his brethren.
These are the Israelites, that should be receiving the promised massiah, but they believe that Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. But its not that the Word of God has taken no affect. For they are not all going to believe this. But these that believe it are not the children of God.

Rom 9:1-8
1 I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,
2 that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart.
3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh,
4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;
5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.
6 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,
7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called."
8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Videocrafter,

Greetings from a fellow Kentuckian!

No I am not a Trinity believer. I believe in the more scriptural doctrine of Oneness. In other words:

1. There is only ONE GOD.
2. Jesus is the ONLY GOD.

Greetings back to ya! I'm not originally from Kentucky, but now that I'm here, I guess I'll stick it out!

Thanks for the clarification.

In kidding around, I commented to someone I may be a binatarian.
Hehehe, I though I had made that term up. Turns out to be an actual doctrine. :o

Does anyone know anything about this belief? :-?

promised massiah, .

Bro, it's spelled with a capital M, and it's spelled M-E-S-S-I-A-H.

Your spelling isn't the only thing you're wrong about.

Too bad you're using a perverted bible, too.

Woe thats a new one. Wrong but it is a new one. Thats wierd because Jesus says the Father is the only true God. And you call Jesus a liar and say He is God.

John 17:1-3

1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,
2 "as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.
3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Squeaky,

You said:

Me:

New one? What a joke. You brought your array of scriptural error to my message board last year. We discussed the fact that Jesus is the Father and the Son in various threads there. And you are saying this is new to you?

But to address your bit of commentary I say no Jesus is not a liar. But being the Son of God in no way stops him from being the Father also.

It would be like someone saying "Jesus cant be the son of God because he said he is the son of Man".

Obviously he can be both. I serve a God who spoke and millions of galaxies containing hundreds of billions of stars appeared simply because he willed it!

You portray him to small. As if he could not make a way to exist in two realms of being at the same time.
