What Are Some of the Drawbacks to Online Dating

I got to tell you, that Kingdom Hall across the street from me has some good looking women going to it. Not to mention they believe in "headship". I mean it's like Eph 5 land over at that place.

I was thinking maybe being a JW might not be all that bad.
 
...but what about the central truths of the Lord Jesus? JWs even deny He is God. (John chapter 1, etc.)

Minor detail.

They don't have a cross either, they tell me Jesus was nailed to a stake or a pole or something.

But they have hot women who believe in submission. How cool is that?

Sorry, it's not a minor detail. There are very great doctrinal differences.

They do not believe in the main part of the bible. ...that Jesus is God. They believe that Jesus is a CREATED being. They are as far from the scriptures as anyone can be.

Details, details

Lets keep the most important thing in focus. The women are good looking, and they believe in headship. Not to mention you get to have a lion for a pet.

Even if this is true, any woman who would sleep with you before marriage will probably also cheat on, or steal from you, or lie to you, etc., and have no qualms about sinning against you and God in any number of other way. So don't be deceived.

This must be from the JW's literature describing the age to come, not now. They love to talk about the age to come. The age to come where there is no marriage.

I had sex with my first wife within the first week I met her. She just got naked and wanted to have sex. I thought that was really bizarre... I barely knew her. That marriage didn't work out too well... I can't tell you how many men she slept with after we were married.

My second marriage I decided to do it God's way. Yup, no sex before marriage. Yes, it was tough, but I had the fear of God to keep me straight. We dated for over a year. So far God's way has worked out so much better.

My brother got serious with some gal he brought home from the bar and had sex with the first night. The fling lasted about 3 months and he just knew he was in love. Imagine his frustration when she slept with another guy! He just couldn't figure it out.

Note: If they have sex with you when your still "dating", they'll cheat on you when your married.

See, that's the thing - how do you KNOW your mate is faithful if they went from zero to 60 in 2.3 seconds?

My first wife and I followed Stove's path... and she ended up dating while we were still MARRIED.

Second time around, we did wait. We really did - but then the problem was we only knew one another for less than 4 months when we married.

So, I have, both times, made a big mistake. Not the SAME mistake, but a mistake.
 
So where do you find all these women who want to wait until marriage? I haven't met any of them since I was a teen. Even back then they were few and far between.
