Hey everyone, Reba's laughing at me again.I guess I'll just go have some home made Italian desserts to take my mind off of it.
What shall I have?
Yes, a profiterole sounds good.

Pulled pork for me... Well, not really cooking it yet. It's soaking in natural organic salt water now and will get some time on the grill to seal it and give it some bark, then into the slow cooker for a bunch of hours before getting shredded.

feild peas and snaps with some bacon cut up in them and home made biscuits. it all I need, it was good too.

DH went ice fishing yesterday. He was disappointed. He caught his limit, 4 trout, in less than 1/2 hr. that made for a short day. Sheesh, I thought I'd have more quiet time, too. lol.

Fresh, cold water trout for dinner last night. :)

Au gratin potatoes for today and turkey soup for tomorrow. With the kids out of the house, a turkey lasts a long time for the two of us. Boiling down the carcass and making soup is the last act.

the last thing that i made (a few days ago) was a wholemeal bread

Blessings

my dad bought a smoker fairly recently. Its been...amazing. Smoked ribs, smoke turkey, smoked chicken. The last round was a few smoked beef ribs and then a smoked chicken, both of which were heavily seasoned with some kinda homemade rub. Good times. :-)
