What are you listening right now?

It's the name of their new album, but it's also the name of the first track in that album.

I really like the way the chorus sounds on that one.

questdriven:

Well, ty.

I don't think I've heard the Release the Panic track.

I'll try to find it.

The one I listened to most recently was Die for You. Maybe it's part of the same album.

Blessings, f

Yeah Dvorak is classical (or some would consider his music part of Romanticism).

I noticed lots of people that are into metal or hard rock also enjoy classical music. Maybe it's a general good taste in music those people have. ;)

This is actually baroque rather than classical, very fun to listen to:

Very heavy, and with a deep spiritual meaning:

Let me know if you need a translation of the text.

Also this, one of my favourite choir pieces. The title means "Evening Song" in English, it's basically Luke 24:29 "Stay with us, because the evening is falling and the day is almost spent."
I'll just leave this here before I go to bed. :salute

Yes, the chorus especially of Release the Panic — thoroughly hard rock screamo, really, — is strong, decisive and firm music, isn't it. It's a nice sound.

Kind of does something for the listener, really, I guess. To listeners that discover they thoroughly like this kind of sound it kind of helps them discover more who they are, so to speak. (Maybe I'm overstating it a bit, but, whatever.)

Blessings.

Claudya:

Thanks; I'll have to listen to those.

They look interesting and I reckon I'll recognize one or two of them.

Interesting also what you say about heavy metal and classical.

For all the redneck Jesus loving fans. My daughter Made me do it!

Aw man I hate those copyright people. Most of the videos you post I can't watch because they are blocked for my country. :sad
I need a good proxy.

If I was Jesus
I'd have some real long hair
A robe and some sandals, is exactly what I'd wear
I'd be the guy at the party
Turning water into wine
Me and my disciples
We'd have a real good time

Oooh and I'd lay my life down for you
Yeah, and I'd show you who's the boss
I'd forgive you and adore you
While I was hangin' on your cross

If I was Jesus
I'd have some friends that were poor
I'd run around with the wrong crowd
Man I'd never be bored
Then I'd heal me a blind man
Get myself crucified
By politicians and preachers
Who got something to hide

Oooh and I'd lay my life down for you
Yeah, I'd show you who's the boss
I'd forgive you and adore you
While I was hangin' on your cross
If I was Jesus

Break

If I was Jesus
I'd come back from the dead
And I'd walk on some water
Just to mess with your head
I know your dark little secrets
I'd look you right in the face
And tell you I love you
With amazing grace

Oooh and I'd lay my life down for you
Yeah, I'd show you who's the boss
I'd forgive you and adore you
While I was hangin' on your cross

If I was Jesus
If I was Jesus

The music is upbeat and rather different but I don't know how to explain that.

Claudya:

Yes, I really like and am familiar with the Brahms. I do like 'How lovely are thy dwelling places' by Brahms ('Wie lieblich sind Deine Wohnungen...')

I don't know if Amazon works the same in Germany but you can see if they have the sample of the music available to you. That way you can atleast hear what the song sounds like. :)

Hi guys. Okay so I've been listening to Red's Glass House again.

As a track with a good combination of features, it really is outstanding, I reckon.

It's lyrics are definitely a prayer to the Lord to come in, in healing and restoration.

And it's so melodious, especially at its opening, and its soft ending.

And also: it's both melodious and really hard rock, too. Sometimes it's one or the other, but Glass House is both.

Great to think that young people into hard rock might be listening to this; their Christian friends able to point them to the lyrics.

Blessings.

(...You alone, You can see right through
This glass house we call home
You alone, You can take away the pain
You have shown, You can break right through
This glass house of our souls
Make us whole again, make us whole...Copyright Red)

AMEN! :)

Thank you for posting the lyrics. It's probably an amazing song. I really love the lyrics, very touching.

Knotical:

She is very melodious, and carries herself with grace and dignity, with her attire and tasteful and understated, very feminine tattoos. She is a very classy lady with a great, almost traditional, type of soloist's voice.

Great song by a grammy winner.

Another song for the night.
This one won the Eurovision song contest a few years back.

And some modern Beethoven:

Reminds me of my hardcore computer gaming addiction time. I used to listent to that while playing.

Knotical Sorry, the copyright guys from my country don't want me to listen to the songs you posted. That's really disturbing. Censorship of the internet is so much easier than many people think. There's ways around that youtube blockade though.
