What are you listening right now?

Mystery of You, by Red

When I started playing the song my brother was like, "What's that epic sound? My ears are happy!" xDDDD I love my brother. He makes me laugh just by being himself. :lol

Hi questdriven:

Is Mystery of You part of the Release the Panic album?

I must say that I was impressed by Glass House, and in the light of this the first, Release the Panic track does grown on you, really.

Blessings.

It's from Innocence and Instinct. Same album that Forever is from.

Ah okay. Yes, I was impressed by Forever as well.

I think that the awareness of existence of various tracks in an album should help people to appreciate them more as part of a whole.

For example, I don't know how successful the track Release the Panic would be on its own, but I actually like to listen to it before I also listen to Glass House, because it kind of sets the scene, if you know what I mean?

It sort of does something.

Sounds like your brother is also learning to appreciate the Christian hard rock that evokes a response in you. I think you said your mom would now probably be willing to buy him Christian hard rock CDs, too, if it seemed to her that he really liked them.

Blessings.

Red's Forever.

The lyrics remind me of the verse: 'Herein is love, not that we love God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins' (1 John 4.10).

Solid rock track. Are the lyrics meant to be specifically about divine love? or about a human couple?

Blessings.

Hi questdriven. I like the sound of the track; as always, the lyrics do interest me. Do you see these lyrics as referring to the experience of the redeeming love of Christ in a person's life, as someone who will never be the same again, so to speak? Or to human love/personal events?

I was going to ask if it's from Red's Album Release the Panic, but it doesn't sound quite as elementally rigorous hard rock as the Release the Panic tracks that I've heard, anyway.

Blessings.

According to the title it is, but it's not on my copy of the album...did they make some special releases of it with extra songs already, or something? (I know my copy of Innocence and Instinct has several extra songs.)

As to the lyrics, not sure on this one. Some parts sound like God's love, others just not sure.
