Another song that's supposed to be from Release the Panic that I don't have...hm.

Very melodious; I didn't check out the lyrics yet, though.

Someone posted a note saying that there is a Deluxe edition, with more tracks on it.

Blessings.

The Real World, by Owl City

According to the title it is, but it's not on my copy of the album...did they make some special releases of it with extra songs already, or something? (I know my copy of Innocence and Instinct has several extra songs.)

As to the lyrics, not sure on this one. Some parts sound like God's love, others just not sure.

questdriven:

Anyway I think I'm going to listen to the Release the Panic track, followed by Glass House, by Red. Listening to them both, one after the other as opposed to by themselves, really seems to make sense. The first kind of prepares for the second, so to speak, I think.

Blessings.

Okay, I've listened to them both, one after the other. Such rigorous hard rock! especially the Release the Panic track, followed by faith lyrics in Glass House.

Really impressive!

Listening to my YouTube favorites list. Which includes a lot of stuff, mostly quite a variety of songs.

I suppose this is the case, but I prefer to interpret the lyrics that I can otherwise.

questdriven:

I know.

Just that these words kind of indicate to me young people that have just split up:

"Bittersweet the dreams we made
We're so young
We thought that this could never end".

Doing what, I'm not sure.

Some of the other lyrics that you've pointed out really do seem to be a call to faith. Glass House, Forever, etc.

Blessings.

I noticed. I just prefer to disregard that part of the song, I guess.

questdriven:

This is melodious. I wonder whether there is a written set of lyrics. I could try to find them, I guess.

Blessings.
The original song is in Japanese and this is only a fandub, so probably not. If you go to the YouTube page for this one, though, you can find the English lyrics used here in the description.

Oh okay, ty. So it was Japanese! You have a nice set of wide tastes, anyway! Blessings.

Alison Krauss is a great singer, and her music spans country, bluegrass, and Gospel music. She even did some work with Robert Plant before. I discovered her through the soundtrack of the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" where they revived the song "I am a Man of Constant Sorrow" (Alison Krauss & Union Station). She plays a pretty good fiddle.

Edward: So a Southern lady, right?

Blessings.
