Strengthening families through biblical principles.
Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

I guess so, yeah. Sounds about right.
I also like sad songs, like this one, for some reason.

Whispers in the Dark, by Skillet
I suppose so. It certainly works with this song.questdriven:
So do you like it when, after a quiet start, it really gets LOUD after about 22 seconds?
Typical Skillet, right?
Blessings.
I suppose so. It certainly works with this song.
My favorite song by Skillet is Hero. The vocals are great, I like the rhythm of the guitar, and I love the lyrics. I identify with the lyrics a bit, too.
Also love their song Monster. The music combined with the vocals, I guess. Plus it has a bit of a personal meaning for me.
Galatians, eh? Sounds good.questdriven:
The Monster one sounds like typical Skillet, too, doesn't it.
You know, if the lyrics of Monster are what you identify with, maybe the Galatians passage about the fruit of the Spirit would also be a good counterbalance, right? to read and think about whenever you feel that way.
Re. the combination of Monster's emphatic rhythm and the vocals which are almost shouts makes it a dramatic song, doesn't it?
Interesting, too, about the repeated references in the Monster lyrics to something being just 'under the skin'; for many people, on the skin is also where they like to express the way they feel, isn't it?
Blessings.
Galatians, eh? Sounds good.
I heard that according to Skillet, the song is supposed to be about struggling with sin. Someone also said it sounds like it could be about an addiction of some sort, and I think this could apply, too.
And yeah, I like dramatic songs. xD

The War Inside, by Switchfoot
...if this and "Vices Verses" are what the rest of the songs on the Vice Verses album are like, I need to buy this album next time I go on iTunes looking to buy something.
IDK. I'm not good at identifying genres. xDquestdriven:
I think they classify as post-grunge alternative rock... if this makes sense?
You really like it right?
Blessings.

I like it, though, yeah. =)
Love Third DayJust To Be With You by Third Day
I've heard a tale that a man would climb a mountain
Just to be with the one he loves.
How many times has he broken that promise?
It has never been done
Well I never climbed the highest mountain,
but I walked the hill of Calvary
And just to be with you I'll do anything,
there's no price I would not pay, no
Just to be with you I will give everything.
I would give my life away.
Yeaaaa
I've heard it said that a man would swim an ocean
Just to be with the one he loves.
But all of those dreams are an empty emotion
It can never be done.
Well I never swam the deepest ocean
But I walked upon the raging sea
And just to be with you I'll do anything,
there's no price I would not pay, no
and just to be with you I would give everything.
I would give my life away.
Yeaaaa
And I know that you don't understand the fullness of my love
How I died upon the Cross for your sin
And I know that you don't realize how much that I give you
And I promise I would do it all again
Just to be with you I've done everything
There's no price I did not pay, no
Just to be with you I gave everything
Yes I gave my life away.
Yeaaaaa
Just to be with you
Oh, just to be with you (3x)
