what are you listening to right now?

Forgot I had downloaded a few of Hands's songs a while back and only started listening to them yesterday. Funny when it was just what I needed right now:

What I Believe, by Skillet

My current favorite Skillet song. I was listening to it when I drew my avatar the other night.
I'd post the lyrics if I could--look 'em up!

I'm currently listening to Oceans by Hillsong United, amazing song! Just finished listening to Awaken by Wolves At The Gate, you should definitely check it out if you're more into Christian hardrock etc! I discovered them a short while ago, and their messages in their songs are amazing!

So you said you were listening to music while you were drawing. Do you find Christian hard rock helps inspire you and put you into a suitable, creative mood when you're doing your drawings?

Blessings.

They say listening to music while drawing helps the creativity flow better--something like that. Music can be inspiring, so it makes sense.
When I listen to music while drawing, I usually pick songs that either fit what Im drawing or songs that inspired the drawing. I like to be able to draw things with meaning. Music can fuel that if the music itself is meaningful. ( Of course, a lot of times I want to draw a particular idea, but have no idea how to portray it.)
And other times I listen to music while drawing just because I like music.

@questdriven :

Yes, well if you are a creative person, while you draw, the music, from classical thru hymns to hard rock (with you it's probably hard rock mainly), can link in with the creativity flowing through your senses, I guess.

Blessings.

Crossing Field, from Sword Art Online, fan dub, original song by Lisa

Anime music. lol Well, I was watching the English dub of this anime at my friend's house, so yeah. I originally watched the Japanese version...which, it makes more sense that way because the story is supposed to take place in Japan...but I love dubs, so whatcanyado?

No. The original version of the song was sung by a Japanese woman (and I plan to buy it on iTunes), but this is an English dub.

I see. :)

Wouldn't mind trying to learn Japanese one day, though...
