The word “image” comes from the root meaning shadow. But more than that it is applied to physical representations of gods made by hands. Idols. Carved statues and the like. Graven images of gods.

Man is forbidden to make these Idol gods because there is no other God but One.

The “us” in “let us make man in our image” refers to the angels of God. And specifically to the one referred to as the Angel of the Lord.
Since no man has ever seen God, the God whom Adam met and spoke with was the Angel of the Lord. The Angel who would later speak face to face with Moses and others such as Abraham.

The reason the churches believe “image” refers to something other than a physical representation or likeness in form is because they have been taught that God and angels have no physical form.

However, God did form man in His own image and likeness. The truth has been lost by the teaching of philosophers like Plato and Socrates. The church has picked up on their ideas of form.

If it be true that God has a physical body As well as the angels, then who is the adversary and his demon angels?

The truth brings it all together nicely. But that’s another topic I suppose.
It’s really all one topic but……I digress..
The angels dont created my brother, need to rethink that..

The word Elohim actually means Mighty Ones. The angels are those mighty ones who excel in strength and harken to the voice of His commands.
When He commanded, they obeyed.
When He said let there be….they harkened to His voice.
When He said let us make man in our image, they did.

Except that they didn't: https://christianforums.net/threads...-made-in-the-image-of-god.103437/post-1923129

Can you point to anywhere in Scripture where anyone other than God has the power to create life or where man is said to be created in something other than the image of God?

God gives His power to others. Man doesn’t do miracles of his own power. Man can not raised the dead of his own power. The power to do such things must come from God.
If an angel would form man from the ground and breathe into him the breath of life, it would not be of his own power. But the power of the Spirit of God.

You've got at least a couple of assumptions going which you base your opinion on, but where are the scriptures that back up what you have said? Where does the Bible say that humans are made in the image of angels? Where does it say that angels were involved in the creation of humans? Why haven't you addressed Gen. 1:27?

Although Elohim means Mighty ones, it becomes clear that there is only One True God from Gen 1:27.
Which also affirms that anything done by angels is credited to the One True God and not the angels who simply obey His commands.

Okay, so just fallaciously begging the question, no support, and still unwilling to answer certain questions. Where are the scriptures that back up what you have said? Where does the Bible say that humans are made in the image of angels? Where does it say that angels were involved in the creation of humans?

Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (ESV)

A natural reading of Gen. 1:26-27 is that God first speaks to himself in plural personal pronouns (which may suggest a plurality within God) in declaring the intent to make man in his image, which then switches to singular personal pronouns in actually speaking of the creation of mankind. The most obvious and plain understanding is that it was only God who created humans and we are made only in his image.

Beyond that, there is not one single text in the entirety of Scripture that as much as hints at man being either created by or being made in the image of angels or a specific angel. In God's image alone, by God's hand alone--that is the clear biblical teaching.
