What is the gospel?

The testimony is given ( not to question, not to ridicule, not to ignore, but to believe ir to not believe.)

Here is the testimony, and for all who speak instead of believe, there is no answer for them that don't believe it. ( their strife is ignored and the forum should notice them and withdraw questions for strife sake, and if not, God will soon, and for ever.)

Many shall be purified and made white, but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked( who continue to do wickedly) shall understand.

Jesus testified the Gospel and both the Jews and Gentiles hearts are purified by faith in Him. ( Him having to die and rise again to put away our sin of unbelief in the Lord God.)

The blood in the first covenant sanctified to the purifying of the flesh, then how much more the blood of Christ through the eternal Spirit, without spot, offered Himself to God ( on our behalf.) purges our dead conscience to also serve the living God( we believe He is living to serve Him and our harts then purified by faith in the Spirit of Christ/living.)

Then it was necessary that the patterns of the first covenant( blood of bulls) should be purified with those, but the Heavenly things themselves with the better sacrifice of Christ, as Christ entered into Heaven itself in the presence of God for us( to be propitiation for our sin of dying in unbelief of Gods Word.)

Seeing we have purified our souls in obeying ( believing) the truth ( of Christ risen from the dead to purify our hearts through His faith, through His eternal Spirit.) we have sincere love of the brothers, we see that we love one another with a pure heart in the sincerity of Christ.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Acts 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Hebrews 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hebrews 9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

What is the Gospel indeed! Not what you think!!!

Luk 4:43 But He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose."
Luk 8:1 Soon afterwards, He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him,
Luk 9:1 And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. 2 And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.

Now...What did the twelve proclaim????

Luk 18:31 Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished. 32 "For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and mistreated and spit upon, 33 and after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and the third day He will rise again." 34 But the disciples understood none of these things, and the meaning of this statement was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend the things that were said.

Again... What did the twelve proclaim???? The Gospel was announced and taught all before anyone knew of Jesus' death and dying for the sins of the world!

Mar 1:14 Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,
Mar 1:15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

Mat 4:23 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.
Mat 9:35 Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

Even after Jesus' resurrection what about the gospel...

Act 1:3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

Act 1:6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"

Act 19:8 And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God.
Act 20:25 "And now, behold, I know that all of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will no longer see my face.
Act 28:23 When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.

Now..... What's added to the Kingdom/Gospel???

Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being baptized, men and women alike.
Act 28:31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.

KNOW THIS... The Twelve preached the gosple and healed the sick for years.... All with out knowing about Jesus dying for the sins of the world! What is the only thing you hear in Church today??? You never hear... about the Kingdom of God... just Jesus saves!

The gosple is Sooo much more than Jesus saves!! That's about 10% of the Kingdom of God!
How do you not know these things???

Here's a hint.... The risen from the dead Jesus spent 40 days... 40 Days...!!!

Act 1:3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

After 40 days of speaking with the risen Christ...what was their last question?

Act 1:6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"

It's all about the 1000yr reign that's coming!!!

Paul

Sorry but you confuse the one God and one Spirit and one faith, which multiples.

When the Gospel is preached, this is preaching of God( every word is Gods Word, Gods Spirit, the book is God.

Knowing( and believing) that, it is easy to know what the Apostles preached, it was the Lord Jesus Christ.

Everything Jesus said, was regarding Him, as all the scriptures are about Him, and what He had to come to suffer, and all the parables of the Kingdom reveal the same thing, how the strong in this world persecute the weak, and how hey as tares, are no good, but God waits for His harvest, and meanwhile Jesus made clear how He( the good Shepherd) gives His life for the sheep against the wolves and how every one before him is a thief and robber( as only the Son of God has the words of life for us.)

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Many shall be purified and made white,
Doesn’t “purified” and “made white” mean sin free? You cant be “purified“ and still be in your sins. You cant be “white” and still be in your sins. Impossible. So. Here is the million dollar question I know nobody will answer. At what point does the Bible through its testimony tell us when our sins are removed. I’ll give you a hint….Its not at the point of belief! Try these Bible testimonies..
mk 16:16, Acts 2:38, acts 22:16. Rom 6:3,4, Col 2:11-13
You can argue against God all you want but he is clear through his testimony at EXACTLY what point a persons sins are removed.

but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked( who continue to do wickedly) shall understand.

Jesus testified the Gospel and both the Jews and Gentiles hearts are purified by faith in Him. ( Him having to die and rise again to put away our sin of unbelief in the Lord God.)
Rom 6 describes water baptism as the point at which we die, are buried, and then risen to a new life. Its a new life because its sin free.

The text says….purified our souls in obeying. Obedience to the truth is what “belief” in the Bible is. There are many passages that prove that point. Bible belief is NOT just mentally accepting Jesus as savior.
Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Acts 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
This isnt faith alone.

You seem to love Bible testimony! Why wont you give me Bible testimony to this question….
How does one get “into Christ”? Salvation is found…”in Christ”,(2 Tim 2:10) so we need to know how to get there..

That’s all you got to say about the doctrine of people getting to heaven without baptism (which is clearly against what Jesus said) and then regretting it in heaven? I spend all this time using the Bible to support what I say and a PhD in a week has not given me any verse of any kind to support anything? If im wrong you should be able to the passages, show how I misused them and then show me the correct way I should be using them.
You know, Im starting to question this PhD thing?

Your sarcasm and putting words in my mouth does not show any grace on your part so I suggest you try again and stop spending all your time criticising everyone else if they don't agree with you.

Thanks but no post is excellent, I am only here temporarily, as a brief testimony, then I am gone.

Hear wisdom speak, for that is what is excellent, why should we think anything else is wisdom ( excellent) there is no other voice to hear for the sons of men..

Proverbs 3:4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
That is OK. I won't waste my time complimenting you.

Did jesus “show any grace” when he called the pharisees…”white washed tombs”, snakes. Dead mens bones? Was that just grace dripping from his tongue? Was it grace dripping off his whip as he turned over the money tables and let them have it at the temple? That was just full of Grace wasn’t it? Was Jesus full of grace when he called Peter Satan? If I called you satan you would have a fit and tell me how bad a person I am and then my post would be deleted because I would be “too judgmental”, even though the doctrine you hold to doesn’t even come from God. I know this because I cant read of anybody being “born again” by the Holy Spirit falling on them. If so then please show me and prove me wrong.

Keep saying over and over, phd, would you think they might be idle words to give account for one day.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
You really have got a bee in your bonnet about learning, haven't you? If you don't mind I will keep studying to show myself approved by God (not you) I will go by Jesus' example who devoted himself to learning to become a Rabbi. And he spent a lot of time teaching the true meaning of Jewish Law. I guess you would be really uncomfortable listening to him.

I don't cast pearls before swine.

I don't cast pearls before swine.
I am waiting for this post to be removed since you are being extremely judgmental! If calling me a pig is not being judgmental then I dont know what is. Why would you call me swine? Because I ask you questions you have no answer for? That should encourage you to go back and question any teaching you have received in the past.

How does one get….”into Christ”?
Basic question that I think someone who professes love for the Lord would be well equipped and just chomping at the bit to answer.

I can say through our conversations so far that whatever you have definitely does not consist of precious jewels.

You have been answered appropriately already, regarding pearls. ( do not cast your pearls before swine.)

But, as you resist that answer I can answer further.

The pearl of great price, is what pearl cant be cast before swine.( how to get into Christs Kingdom is told by Him, but not to swine who you cant cast pearls to.)

Aren't the swine happy that I am here to answer with pearls ( of wisdom) for them anyway.

Matthew 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Job 28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

Sorry cant answer when the person cant see they are answered.

Did you know those who live for strife have a name.....Proverbs 21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

Proverbs 26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.
4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Proverbs 22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
