What is the gospel?

Why would you want to teach anyone else, when you show you are unteachable ?

Ecclesiastes 4:13 Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

Proverbs 13:1 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

Peace in him huh? Ok. How does one get “into Christ”?

How do we love our household less, it is told how too..

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

CNKW3, DO YOU LOVE YOUR LIFE, OR HATE YOUR LIFE IN THIS WORLD?

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

You have no excuse, here is why:

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

1 Corinthians 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
You didnt answer my question. you are no different then anybody else! You cant call me full of envy and not provide me some proof. Thats an idle word you may have to answer for.

So far all you show everyone right now, is you ignore and ridicule every single scripture given your way, how forwards do you think that is.
You can post 1000 scriptures out of context all you want. That proves nothing. You think Im going to try and figure out what you are trying to say with all of these random verses out of context?

You wont answer the question? How does one get “into Christ”?

You didnt answer my question. you are no different then anybody else! You cant call me full of envy and not provide me some proof. Thats an idle word you may have to answer for.

Yes, you show you see everybody as no good unless they do the good you want.

I told you already, why would anyone answer someone who keeps saying they speak rubbish and are all out of context

You lack charity and integrity.

I also did answer and am free to answer as I feel.

If you wont be corrected by all the verses ( as you said you have rejected them) no wonder you wont stop strife, and instead moved on to me for the same purpose. ( but you are well answered anyway, the verses will be seen by you one day.)

This is my problem…
Tdidymas comes to me with….There are all kind of passages teaching salvation by faith alone.
I say that’s baloney and i asked this person for just ONE. Not a passage that says we are saved by faith but one that says we are saved by faith ALONE. I yet to receive one passage. How am i supposed to respond to that?
Oh….that’s ok…you probably mean well teaching false doctrine? Is that it? Is that the loving response I should give?
Would that make you happy?

If you think discussion is faith, you are wrong.

You ignored the verses showing how we have faith, by loving the most, and then we loose our life, and hate our life in this world.

Your discussion is faith in words, it helps nobody.

James 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Yes, you show you see everybody as no good unless they do the good you want.
Never said that. If so, show me. If not then admit that is just your opinion and you are basically lying about me. I genuinely believe that most people on this board are probably pretty good people. Nice people. Probably do many good things for others. That has no bearing on the doctrine they teach. If its false its false no matter how kind and good you are.

That is why Tdidymas, or anyone else, would never believe a word you say, as it is ONLY WORDS. ( don't you see the irony > You want to show Tdidymas it is faith by actions, yet all you show your faith to be is WORDS.

Again. You cant just post verses without any application. That is meaningless!
You post a verse and then you apply the commentary on why this verse is being used. You do none of that. you just post verse after verse with no explanation on what it is you are trying to prove with it.

Talking without knowledge again, all are morally abandoned unless Christ is in them* the evil tree has no good)..

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

There is no reason to not return and see all the verses you missed, apart from the fact you show you do not want to see what they said.

See. You post a verse with no explanation. What does this mean? Are you saying that I dont give to anybody? How am I supposed to respond to this stuff?

Now everybody knows how you respond to someone talking with you, you wont see anything the scriptures say.

Then this is now for you..

1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: FROM SUCH WITHDRAW THYSELF

2 John 1: 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

No person converts anyone to Christ, Christ does the conversion. ( with the Holy Spirit)

Acts 15:3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

Acts 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
I missed this one. Let me show you how you take out of context. The context of acts 15 are the apostles in a conference at jerusalem.
Peter states how Cornelius and his family received the Spirit “even as he did to us”. Did the apostles receive the HS in order for them to be converted to Christ? No. It was for effect so the audience would be impressed enough to listen to what they had to say. It was not for conversion.
The same with Cornelius. He was not given the Spirit for conversion. He was given the Spirit for effect. This convinced the Jews that God was accepting the gentiles just as he had accepted the jews. This is why the text says this….
Acts 10:44,45 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The jews were astonished! Why? Because of what the Spirit did. Does the text say that Cornelius was saved by what the Spirit did? No! You completely misused this passage as if it is some proof text to being saved by the Spirit. This text has NOTHING to do with salvation.

Hearts are purified by faith, God gives the faith, ( the ears to hear with) or nobody can believe a word that is preached( God does all, man can do nothing without the Lords Spirit.)

Acts 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

How does one get “into Christ”?
You dont have an inheritance unless you are “in Christ”.
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Where is the inheritance found? In Christ!
So, How does one get ”into Christ”?

This passage tells us that ALL spiritual blessings are found “in Christ”.
