I have always liked Johnny Winter and his kid brother Edgar.

But my favorite version of that song is from George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh, sung and played by Leon Russell. I will not link it here as he has some unwholesome monologue during it.
 
I cant really chose a favourite band. I mean i also like Lincoln park, Alice in chains, Pearl jam, Chilli peppers, Motley crue, Audioslave, Sound garden just to name a few. . I mean if anything good can come from California its music.

Im inspired to get another guitar but i will probably get frustrated and quit again for like the 100th time.
