Cano, Granderson and A-Rod have to wake up their bats for the Yankees to have any chance at all. I hear The Freak might be starting game 4 or 5 for the Giants. I'd like to see that. He pretty much tore up the Reds when he pitched in relief in Game 4 of the NLDS.
 
Love our TCW, Miguel. If he had an American accent and a more popular personality, he'd be much more visible. He just quietly goes about his business.

Most people here counted the Tigers out when they lost a late make-up game against the White Sox and went 3 games down. Here we are perched on the threshold of the World Series. It gives me even more satisfaction doing in the Yankees. Their fans are the worst! They've even turned on Granderson, and he was the golden child second to Jeter.

Tiger fans are already punching their ticket to the WS. If they play the Cardinals, that will be an interesting rematch. :yes

We really should invite him to watch the World Series with us .... two fine teams are competing this year & will be a great opportunity to induce many to become great fans of the sport!

Who knows, if Classik gives up whatever that sport is he's always talking on about, we might even ask him to join us at Spring Training next year!

My Cardinals are out, but I'm sure I'll find reason to go on living.

Now that I am older, I watch little baseball, though I follow it in the newspaper and have my favorite team. I watch more (American) football and golf. Part of this is because on Sunday afternoons, when I have nothing else to do, there is usually a football game or golf tournamnent on TV.
 
The Giants won the World Series tonight....... 10 innings............ 4-3
