John started ministry before Jesus and ended before Jesus . John literally wore sackcloth. Jesus was humble inside his being.

The sins of the whole world were placed on Jesus during his passion.

Zechariah 4:14 for documentation. Their the two anointed who stand by the Lord. Their the two sons of oil. Revelation chapter 11 further talks about the two sons of oil, the two witnesses. Some scholars believe its Moses and Elijah. Since they appeared to Jesus and two apostles , Matthew 17:2. 17:3. The two witnesses will be in Jerusalem near future. The majority will think their crack pots, because their biblically illiterate. Gods elect will know who they are. The majority will worship antichrist, revelation chapter 13. They lack knowledge. Scripture does not say the two witnesses don't take the mark. For all you know, they may be the ones giving it out.

If tormenting and killing people are good, then why didn't Jesus command his witnesses to torment and kill people?
But Jesus did talk about his witnesses doing things like this.

So what is not good about prophecy? They are the Witness for the Lord so will have much to say!

Do you think they want to torment you personally? IDK I would doubt it but I guess you could ask yourself the question, who's side are you on? If you have never been born again and are not a child of God, then you might have something to worry about.

It sounds to me like they act in self defense. So if you don't try to attack them, you're probably safe.

Did Pilate ascend to heaven after his mission was complete ? I think not .

How could anyone not know that these two witnesses are of God as in the last time before Christ returns His word will be preached in all the world. Satan will for the last time try and silence the word of God like he thought that he had silenced Jesus by His death, but in three days the word (Jesus) became alive again as the word of God can not be silenced.
