Who Are The Two Witnesses?

Not all prophets are good. Ballam was a prophet.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Jesus told us there will be many false prophets as we see in both the OT and NT, but it is up to each one of us to test the spirit that is speaking to us so we are without excuse listening to the wrong one, 1 John 4:1-6. The two witnesses sent by God will be speaking the words God has given them to speak. Thinking that these two witnesses are not of God does not know the Spirit that is God in word and deed as these two witnesses bear witness and testify of God.

1John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
1John 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

Rev11:11-12
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Did Pilate ascend to heaven after his mission was complete ? I think not .
No pilate did not enter a lake of fire.

So why does God punish Jerusalem by giving Jerusalem to the nations so that the nations will rape the women and girls of Jerusalem, kill the men and fathers, and lead away captive many others after the two witnesses are killed?
What have these two witnesses done to the prople of Jerusalem to cause this?

You need to think just how violent rape and murder is and what the two witnesses have brought upon Jerusalem.

During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. Why, because they have killed all the Prophets that were sent to them including Jesus. They have always tried to silent the word of God.

Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

So you agree. Jerusalem is responsible for the blood of prophets and of saints.

And if you understand this, you should also know this same people of Jerusalem. Worship the beast, the image of the beast and recipe its mark.
If not, would you like me to show you how you can tell the I habitats of this city recieve the mark of the beast?

For 42 months, these two prophets have power over Jerusalem. Do you understand what happens to the saints in Israel during those 42 months?

Not all prophets are good does not make all prophets bad.

I believe you're having difficulty reading your Bible and understanding it. How do you read your Bible? From the soul and the carnal mind, or from the spirit?

Do you pray before reading to ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and guide you into all truth?
You should.

I never said all prophets are bad. In fact I don't remember any of the apostles (witnesses of Christ) killing and tormenting anyone. But these two witnesses do.
Now the question remains, what other things have they been doing in Jerusalem to cause God to turn against the inhabitants of Jerusalem and cause all the women to be raped and thier husband's and fathers murderd?

What have the two prophets done to cause this? They had power over Jerusalem for the 42 months preceding this invasion. Look at what they have caused.

Anyone throughout the world including those in Jerusalem who are not Christ own will bow down to this beast and gladly receive it's mark as they refuse the two witnesses and think they have killed them, but like Jesus they come back to life and ascend back up to heaven.

Rev 11:4 You need to go learn what the two olive trees and the two candlesticks are that stand before the Lord as the meaning is found in Zechariah 4.

It is God that gives power to these two witnesses as they prophecy for 3 1/2 years as these two prophets torment those who have rejected Christ by the words of God they speak, just as the Pharisees were tormented by Jesus in what He spoke and had Him put to death thinking that would silence His words.

When you read Rev 11:11 we see that the Spirit of life from God will enter back into these two witnesses that were made silent by those who rejected the words they spoke as they come back to life standing on their feet and great fear will fall upon them which will see them come back to life. The two witnesses are the word and the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) that are called up and ascend up to heaven as their enemies will see them go up in the clouds. This is a reference to Jesus who was dead as they thought they silenced His word, but came back to life and ascended back up to heaven in a cloud, Acts 1:9-11.

What do you thnk the triulation is all about? It's all about Israel and because they wont accept Jesus as Messiah.

And Israel is just like any other nation. Some people are bad and some people are good. It will take a shaking of Israel to get them to turn back to God and repent. And they will.

But the two witnesses are not responsible for killing saints. That's just crazy talk.

So why do you suppose the persecution of the saints in Israel starts when the two witnesses arrive in Jerusalem?

Because they will try to give them a hard time and receive a face full of fire for their efforts. So knowing they can't beat them, they go after the saints instead.

Who goes after the saints in Israel during those 42 months?
The two witnesses are the ones controlling Israel's capital city Jerusalem during those 42 months the saints in Israel and Jerusalem are being persecuted.

Jesus sends his servants throughout israel(including Jerusalem) to preach the gospel, and while those servants are being brought before rulers, the two witnesses are killing people.
While Jesus servants are being betrayed by parents and children to death, those two witnesses are killing some more.
And when those servants of Jesus are being brought up the the synagogues to be beaten, those two witnesses are tormenting people.
Jesus servants are preaching the gospel and calling for repentance.
The two witnesses are poisoning people drinking water.

Why is it the two witnesses, do the exact opposite of everything Jesus stood for and taught?

Enlighten me.
Now if we compare the works of the two witnesses to that of the false prophet. They are much the same.
They both reign at the same time in Jerusalem.
They both have power to do great signs and wanders.
They both do thier killing with fire.

They are remarkably the same in every way.

Their staffs even turned to snakes like Moses & Aaron's staffs did, but that don't make Moses the enemy.
The enemy has counterfeits for almost everything God does, lol. You are confused about the two Witnesses role while they are here and hesitate to go any further with you on the topic because you didn't answer my questions.

Jesus fights for Jerusalem and destroys those who attack her.

Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. Zechariah 14:1-3

Jerusalem is the beloved city of our great King.

But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Matthew 5:34-35

Enoch & Elijah is my guess , one reason is the way they departed their timeline in the Bible .
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

And this verse about Elijah .
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Enoch & Elijah did not die yet and this verse .
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Keep in mind God is not bound to Hebrews 9:27.
Those left "alive" on the last day are caught up. We also know Lazarus died was raised to life and would have died again. I see no reason that God wouldn't appoint two people who were born and raised in days Rev 11 takes place. Obviously until that revealing we can't name them.
