Jesus spoke in Aramaic. Therefore that's the best. :-)

aramiac is used then as a diplomatic language but in the temple i doubt he did that.

hebrew fyi hasnt changed much

koine greek which is dead and almost lost.is what we quote alot.

infact theres alot of words that the scholars of koine greek cant understand as the meaning is lost

not so with hebrew, few changes.

Jesus using klingon? That doesn't surprise me. He has quite the sense of humor.

And yes the Lord speaks to me in Spanish. It's my native tongue and first language. When the Lord speaks to me in Spanish I get such a homey feeling from hearing it. Also, there's some things in Spanish that just sound better and are weightier to say. Things that get lost in translation.

no, it was a joke.

i wonder as i can read the kjv better then alot of non-spanish speakers(not that i'm fluent in it)

but lets use hebrews eleven

from the niv.

lol, acts is called hechos(made, never thought that it could be translated as to do as in act. but i see that hachar means to do or make)

Hebreos 11:1

Ahora Bien.la fe es la garantiade lo que se espera,la certeza de lo no que se ve

i like the word use there conjugated from esperar (to wait)isnt that what our faith is!!

we ask and we wait for it as its a comin and we just wait and trust the lord.

english has the word hope(which esperar does translate to as well but buscar is better for that word).

I know you were joking :D

That's awesome that you read the Bible in Spanish. I try to do it as well.

High five!

Just checking in to see if I'm still winning. I see that I am. :-)
When can I come and pick up my trophy?

As owner of this thread, I have decided that it would be bragging to award myself a trophy.

I believe that we already established in post #3327 that you are not the owner of this thread. It's Nick's thread.
