This is my name forever, which name? I mean the names in verse 13?Again:God didn't state His name was Abraham, Issac and Jacob. you left off "God of"
He stated as you posted, "the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: THIS IS MY NAME FOR EVER
Let me write it completely for you.
And God said moreover unto Moses, thus shalt thou unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: THIS IS MY NAME FOR EVER, AND THIS IS MY MY MEMORIAL UNTO ALL GENERATIONS.
Genesis 3:15.
God has spoken to Moses.
Are this words from God His mouth is a lie?
I want you to see Muslims converted to Christian khamal. On YouTube.
Good luck with that. (smile)I AM
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. John 8:58-59
JLB
God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”Also in Revelation 1:7-8.
I HAVE FINISHED IT FOR YOU. MAYBE YOUR BIBLE DON'T HAVE THE REST THAT I HAVE FILL IN FOR YOU.God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER, AND THIS IS MY MEMORIAL UNTO ALL GENERATIONS.
Why didn't you highlight "God of" in that name or identity given ? The one who said, "I AM"This is the last time that I write Exodus 3:15
And God said moreover unto Moses, thus shall thou SAY unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your Fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you:
THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER, AND THIS IS MY MEMORIAL UNTO ALL GENERATIONS.
EXODUS 3:15.
This is my name forever what it means for you? Is there nobody else here that can write Exodus 3:15 completely? Why didn't you highlight "God of" in that name or identity given ? The one who said, "I AM"
I AM gave an associative identity to know Him by. In that context a name. But He gave no name other then "I AM that I AM"
I AM is the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. So I AM clarified God of your Fathers. As in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob sent you.
He never said His name was Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
Every time you post that scripture you ignore "God of" Why???
Who is my God?This is my name forever what it means for you? Is there nobody else here that can write Exodus 3:15 completely?
How about "Holy Father"? God knows who you are praying to. I also pray to Jesus and He answers. In fact I mostly pray to Jesus.Okay, when I pray I begin so:
God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, I ask you in the name of Jesus......
So, every body knows to which God I am praying. God bless. And one thing more, it is Jesus that was talking with Moses.
They call the Pope also holy father. How about "Holy Father"? God knows who you are praying to. I also pray to Jesus and He answers. In fact I mostly pray to Jesus.
I don't have a Pope. Jesus is the head of the body of Christ. I follow Him.They call the Pope also holy father.
That's why I use the God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob. There is no doubt. It is His name to all GENERATIONS.I don't have a Pope. Jesus is the head of the body of Christ. I follow Him.
I call no "man" Holy Father. Only my heavenly Father.
Indeed, but it can be challenging and rewarding to delve into it as I have tried to do since 2003.God said "This is My Son in whom I am well pleased."
When Jesus drove the men out who were selling, He called the temple "My Father's house."
Jesus taught us how to pray "Our Father ..." so God is our father too, it Jesus is THE SON.
That is the only way I can see it. Many of God's mysteries have bot been revealed to us yet.
John proclaims Him as both the Lamb and Son of God, and this would have perhaps confused many of the Jews at this baptism. The Gk word used for Lamb here is used in only 4 verses of the NT...John and Acts.Col 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and[fn] of Christ,
Rev 10:7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
In the letters addressed to the 7 1st century Assemblies of believers, Jesus is shown proclaiming Himself to be Son of God to the Assembly of Thyatira. Why to that particular Assembly?Matthew 17:5 Still of Him speaking, behold! a luminous cloud overshadows them and behold! a Voice out of the cloud saying "this is being the Son of Me, the Beloved One, in Whom I am well pleased<2106>, be ye hearing Him![Mark 9:7 Luke 9:34-35]'
“These things saith the Son of God, who hath His eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass; .............
The church in Thyatira has a longer message delivered to it from Jesus Christ than any of the seven churches, although it is interesting to note that the church there is the smallest of the seven, and the city of Thyatira is the smallest of the seven cities.
Thyatira means “sweet perfume of sacrifice” and when you study this word it speaks of a perfume that sends forth its fragrance as the result of bruising, crushing, or breaking. As we study the message to the church in Thyatira we see that the primary emphasis is upon the Jezebel spirit in that church and the “great tribulation” into which the Lord will cast her in order to judge, break, and purify her. ...........
