As I watched the TV coverage of the Pope I saw several instances of the Pope stopping to touch those who were in wheelchairs and crippled or paraplegic to bless them. ( I'am not sure what blessing means here) The morning news had the family of one such child that the Pope blessed. The interview went something like this: They were asked how did that make you feel? They said, we all felt blessed and we began to weep with joy that the Pope stopped to bless our child. They all felt privileged by the attention of the Pope and his blessings
What was the blessing? The boy is still a paraplegic. Where was the Praise of the Lord...there was none. Who was praised? The Pope. Who gave their life to save us? No man upon this earth ever, but our Lord. Men have usurped the authority of Christ and the whole world has followed after them. For to whom a man is overcome by, to him he is in bondage. How the Lord warned us of these thing beforehand. Many shall come in my name saying I'am the Christ, but deceive many,....... not all) The world has given praise to men, but not God.
To God in Jesus The Christ who has given all to make us new, Praise and glory for ever and ever, Amen.

Honestly, I think if the Pope was God's top dog here on earth he'd be despised, not adored by the world:

“Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets in the same way." (Luke 6:26 NASB italics in original)

The hypocrisy of parade/pomp/ceremony/ritual/endless empty words. Preach to lift up the poor and the environment on one hand while simultaneously, still on the books, the promotion and active agenda saying anyone in disagreement with the religious matrix concoctions by pseudo authorities deserves to die by the hand of civil authorities is not merely sickening. It is an affirmation of this:

John 16:2
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Did I mention hollow apologies? "Yeah, we killed some folks. Sorry bout that."

I don't blame the actors or the participants in such systems. Jesus basically "de-cloaked" the world, showing that it is really run by devils in mankind. Tale of two worlds. One we see with our eyes, and another, revealed by the Light of His Words. Largely predictable, viewable and discerned in actions of antithesis.

Read this morning that several dozens of homeless people were usurped from their "Philly, city of brotherly love" lairs to clear and clean up the area where the big guy is going to pontificate about the poor and homeless.

Appropriately titled "Do As I Say, Not As I Do."

Brethren, across the separations set by man and their doctrines, there remains God and His kingdom working all things to the good of us loving Him. To me even one encouraged to call on our glorious LORD by any action the Pope may have influenced is a time of celebrating. The Pope is not alone in Christendom putting them to the forefront for possible gain, but I was gladdened in him asking for personal prayer. I would pray that I one day would see him also with me as I am in the Lord’s presence.

Php 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

Php 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
