I know why women have them...to paint a pretty nudey pink and walk on the beach or have them peek through summer sandals in a lovely bronze color to match your tan...(that was then sigh...,,now I am lucky to keep them trimmed)

I have no idea why men have them...most of the time, theirs are just gross... :-D
