Why Does The Concept of Money Exist?

Nice house. I like the design.

Florida is relatively warm in the winter. You would probably still need a well insulated sleeping bag to wait in a tent.
Spanish revival is what they is called. in the time that was built it was called boomtime stucco. a term still used in historical recollections. there are others that are much bigger then that one. that is the few left that is that old in that form. there is the one to the north that billy graham stayed in and a bit north another about a decade older. I havent photographed them with my dlsr.

with tents , florida didn't get that cold , they had fire pits and places. the old homes and I have many photos of them all had fire places for heat and were cool without ac. if I can find the photos of the sleepy eye lodge, there are tents in the old photos where it simply needed to be moved and a bigger one built. ah after that, the del mar was indeed the place along with new new del prado(the sleepy eye moved and renamed) that had a large fire place with a meeting hall and accounts called it the Seminole room and it held the first city council meetings until the building for city hall was finished. its accounts and a large table for eating and also was very much like a hunting lodge in appearance. the del mar lasted until the late 50s and the del prado a few years later. if those stood I would have photos.

Those were the days. No robocalls.
no 911, mom worked my county until retirement and up to 1979 she was the one of a few that directed ems. in that time frame you had party calls and simply could without dialing talk to anyone of course any one could listen. numbers such as my dads and moms would be jo-3387, then later 9-3387. they got that number as a seven digit and I used the old way of listing it. most old numbers in our county were jo then 7-5-1 or 9 -xxxx.

Yes, those are nice.
way off topic the big water tower was used to tell the fire and cops to call the station and then act. if it went red , or later on the siren was mounted on it and I remember that loud thing, you could hear it at noon. and it was loud even over the bridge it was heard. it had a red and green light.in my time it pulsed to each, in the days before the dispatch as I mentioned it was the red light.

I like it.

Okay, that would work.

I hope they wore earplugs if they were standing next to it.

those are being restored.if you zoom in it says circa 1924.i had to pay a visit to the owners over another matter and discussed old homes and place and they asked me the history of it. since I posted a photo that freaked them over its haunting. they didn't even let me speak until I told them the story of when I first heard and felt that spirit in that house which is near their properties. the do you know how many hail marys I said? im Italian, we fear those, lol. she mentioned this , I told her the earliest name. after work since it was mentioned and she went into detail of how sturdy it is, concrete walls and also its handcrafted doors and work, its dade pine and Cyprus floors that were allowed to rot, she had this one blessed. so I decided to go photo them. I always pass this to and from city hall but never outside of a few passing photos with the smart phone or a dlsr really go out and focus on it a few near that is in one of them that I posted and not the masonic lodge.

They look sturdy, after all this time. In Florida's humidity too. Someone told me they had to run the A/C in their relatively new house to keep the humidity reasonable inside for the structure.

I like the fountain in the yard. They really did a good job back then.

until the early 80s(86) the fire station was across from it and in 1926 to 1961 when this was a power plant full time, after big blue was built and unit one went online it became a back up .

about where that entrance past that big flywheel from the old unit 3 was about where the water tower stood and it was lined up with the edge of the building and butted nearly up to it. inside the plant was a button above the door that should a fire inside occur would trigger the alarm on the tower. my fil would run should the fire station one not work and would sound that tower, he said it was often.

fountain is new. let me go dig up the 1920s photo. the owner made the edifice look as Italian and only the brazilain court(as old) has one from that time. Spaniards weren't as big on them in these, itailians like them, that isnt to say said architects didnt make exceptions. a big designer (not mizner but tremble) did add them.

They may need an exorcist.

Cyprus floors that were allowed to rot.

Okay, they needed to take precautions in older homes too.

I hope they improved safety since then.

well a power plant isn't gonna bee a brewery. the water tower was taken down regretfully in the mid 80s. big blue lies silent. we do have a 911 system and the firestation was razed in the mid 80s.86. it was a two story one

the road there called 19th pl then and now. dead ended until well 1986 at the diesel plant. it also had that center island up 1993 when it was made one way. there is also in that photo was it called Edison lights. these are collectable and people bought them from the city when it was switching away. I believe I have found a few functioning ones by the historical society. I need to ask them. 4 of them. there are some that appear like these on the beach and to the north in a town charted much later and also the son of man who created the island was also a resident and one of the council members of that city.

The first thing I notice is that your pictures are so much clearer. When I opened the picture in a new tab, and magnified it, it became blurry. Camera technology has improved markedly over the years.

that apartment was allowed to rot, she said they were closing and it was as is and he knew the roof was leaking. I didn't sense the spirits there, she did that as a some ghost hunter group contacted them about doing a reading there. I have before them buying it sense something there. not strong but aware that I was reading meters where that tiny box is one the side with alley way. I had to and and still do if I had the route would read that water from the front and wondered its history. it was at one time called the luther apartments after the man who owned it(still alive and I met him and talk to his wife).some time after he sold it was left to rot as it does until they bought and saw it and planned a vision for it and unknown to her, she fixed the awnings and was shocked that her plan sans that fountain was indentical to its original owner.

dlsr. I also edited them for clarity. but web pages do modify files, facebook does, I post on imgur so that I can share. they usually don't. the diesel plant(brewery) does have some odd effects with that brick work that is visible without a camera and that checkered effect is normal. that place does that often.
