Bible Study Worship In the Spirit

Alot of encouraging insight here, thank all you older folks for talking.

Hello my Canada up North Buddy. :hugHope all is well with you. I'm from the State of Maine and have been up to your border hunting deer on many occasions. (hope you don't mind) I'm glad you made that question in post #41. The responses help to realize that just weeping is not a strange thing.

Is there an incident where you wept with no laughter? I love to hear these visits of the Holy Spirit. They are so personal and powerful, and help all of realize that we are not "loosing it".

having the face to face friendship of other believers would be so comforting. I am so thankful for the internet, and the friends made here.

Some how and for some reason i think this thread is off topic and in the wrong forum.... Some times the postings are more important then the rules .... shh don't tell any one i said that ....:couch
We won't tell anyone you said that.

Such a wonderful revelation that we are so sinful and can hardly stand in His Presence. It's true. Our own flesh and fleshly desires can not exist in His Presence-that's why we give up our lives-wanting to give it all up because In Him is the Answer. Many years before Jesus-my life was not worth living-to be honest. But The Lord my God has used so much of it to help others. I have also found over the years, in even seeking to be more like Jesus, and walking in those good works that He knew He would give me after I was saved and born again that I weep for the lost, I weep for all that the enemy has had victory over. Praying for them. That they Seek and Find. Knock and It Shall Be Opened. Ask and It Shall Be Given.

It was good to get the revelation, but I didn't feel good about it. I walk around feeling I'm a pretty good guy most of the time, especially when I think how valuable I must be to God for Him to let His son die for me. But now I realize that even on my best day, my righteousness is as filthy rags to Him. I drive around and see people...and wonder if they will burn, and when people do me wrong, I feel sorry for them instead of getting mad. I wish I could see myself through Gods eyes, as He sees me. I might feel better then. Oh, to shed this earthly flesh and put on my new house! Praise the Lord for grace and mercy!

I cant recall a single encounter where there has been any laughter at all, only niagra falls.

Oh the deer...have they graduated from edible pest yet? Seems a bonus we can import you guys to take care of our edible pest problem. :)
