Bible Study Yahweh's Loving Instruction Thru The Torah.

Don't find many who want to explore it. Doctrines of men too hard to let go of. If your interested, I can start a thread to discuss the Glory of the Lord.
I understand the Glory of the Lord in vision, for I have seen it. It was blinding bright and brilliant gold light flowing toward me murmuring something, But I was afraid and hid from it.

...I understand that you won't find Christ on the straight and narrow path, you will find him in the broad way...
Matthew 7:13-15 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. 15. "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
So quick to quote the one verse, but surely you don't understand what I mean by it. But then again, what do I know? I was found sick. But those on the straight and narrow? What need of a physician have they?

If you are still walking on the straight and narrow, then are you declaring that you have not yet come to life in Christ. Few there be that find it. But many have come to the death of Christ.
I quoted what Jesus Christ said, yet you decide that your opposite quote is the better understanding. If I were to take on your understanding, would I be following Christ or a false prophet.

got to go right know, but I'll answer it later.

I don't know about visions and how much I put into them. In mine I was gathered up by a great light and then carried away somewhere. I was set down in a broad field of scorched earth as far as I could see.

If your interested in a thread that will take you through the scriptures looking at the Glory of he Lord and the Lake of Fire. Then I will start a thread to discuss it. Otherwise, if no one is interested, I don't need to convince myself.

Sorry Hermit, but upon further consideration, I have decided not to explain myself. I really have no need to explain myself to you. If you really wanted to understand what I meant by it, then you would have asked me to explain myself in light in Jesus's statement. But you didn't. Because you didn't understand my statement you turn around and suggest I am a false prophet. Such a claim from someone who is lacking understanding. But I don't think you really want to understand, or you might go back over my comment with a little more critical thinking skills.

Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to LIFE, and few there be that find it.

The Straight and Narrow WAY leads to LIFE. If you claim that you are born again, then you claim that you have already entered in through that straight and narrow gate. If you say that you are still on the straight and narrow path, then you declare that you have not entered in through the gate yet, and you have not really come come to the LIFE in Christ.

But Douglas was right. The straight and narrow path that you seek is defined by the law. And the outstretched arms of Christ waiting at the end if that way are nailed to a cross. But Jesus isn't hanging on the cross any more. He has risen. If you have risen with Him, then what straight and narrow path do you continue to walk?

I quoted what Jesus Christ said, yet you decide that your opposite quote is the better understanding. If I were to take on your understanding, would I be following Christ or a false prophet.

You are aware that Jesus, who was made the head cornerstone, also became the chief stumbling block? And as he hung upon the cross, the word declares that which should have been for their benefit, let it become a snare and a trap. So do yo kick at the cornerstone, or are you stumbling at the stumbling stone?

Thanks ez, I already have a teacher. (not sarcasm). But others may want to hear your teachings or discussions, or what you have learned...Just put it out there, if it's of the Lord it will profit, if not, It will fail.

But if you have truly reconciled the scriptures from Genesis 1:1 all the way through to Revelation 22:21, then you would have reconciled that the words of the book are sealed.
That is a meaningless post! Apparently you believe yourself super intelligent but I remain an old man with an Eighth Grade Education and I plan on spending Eternity mulling over the scriptures, figuring them out.

The New Jerusalem per your words are at the end of the narrow road. If it is at the end of the narrow road, then it is only a beacon off in the distance. What it does not do is define the borders of that narrow road that you walk to get to the New Jerusalem.
Jesus left us with all of the parameters to make the journey. And if people will take John 1:1-3 to heart all of this nonsensical splitting the Bible into two divisions with the latter deleting the former and people will then begin to connect with Jesus through Visions, Dreams and verbal instructions.

I do not see that happening though, one must put personal pride, the p4ide of what THEY can do in file thirteen and then leave it there.

Thanks Douglas. I understand your not sarcasm comment, for I too have a teacher. But I am not a teacher, so I can not teach you anything. I am not a prophet, so I will only speak of Christ. I am but a stranger passing along the way. I can only share that which I have heard from my Father.

I could start a thread and just put it out there as you suggest, but I am restrained from doing that at this time. If someone is interested in learning from the scripture about the Lake of Fire and the Glory of the Lord, then they are more than free to ask me to start one, or they may even start one themselves, then I would be more than happy to discuss as a simple stranger that which I have heard from my Father. You have made it clear that you are not interested.

If I just put it out there as you suggest, then it will only be mocked because of unbelief. Just look at the responses to my comment about the words of the book being sealed, or my comment that Christ isn't found on the straight and narrow way. You will find him in the broad way. Those are not my words. Those are not my teachings. That is the that word I have heard from my Father. That is the word that is written in the scripture. If they don't believe the words that are written in the scripture, and if they don't believe the words of Jesus, why should I expect them to believe my words?

I have already posted a thread on the Words of the Book being sealed. And it was mocked, as have others. But they are not mocking my words. They are mocking the words of the Book. They mock their own idol.

But if someone wants to discuss the Lake of Fire and the Glory of the Lord, then I can share with them what I have heard of my Father, and I can share with them scriptures to open their understanding; but I can teach them nothing

And may God have mercy on them!

And this comment was in response to a comment that I just start a thread and put it out there. May God have mercy on them if I start a thread? Is that not meant to mock? That is sure the way I receive it at the moment.

Perhaps you meant If I post the thread and just put it out there that the truth will paralyze them; may God have mercy on them?

That is a meaningless post!

It is only meaningless to you because of unbelief. But the words of the book being sealed are not my words. If you had truly reconciled the scripture from Gen 1:1 to Rev 22:21, then you would know this to be truly.

Apparently you believe yourself super intelligent but I remain an old man with an Eighth Grade Education

I sense a little envy in that comment. You should reconcile that. You have am 8th grade education, and I can't study the scriptures. That doesn't make me any more intelligent. I can only share that which I have heard from my father, and if you have reconciled the scriptures to yourself, then you would know the the Lord is quite capable of making a dumb ass to speak.

Could you post the scripture that teaches us Christ is not found on the narrow way.

That way we can all evaluate your doctrine, whether it is from our Heavenly Father or some other.

Isaiah 35:8
A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for him who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it.

Matthew 7:14
But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Luke 13:24
"Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.

I Understand. The things we receive in personal fellowship with the Lord are precious to us, but The father would not teach or give us anything that he would not want us to use to prosper the Kingdom. Jesus and the disciples were mocked all the time, and it is disheartening when the joy of what you have learned (if it is from God) is made light of. But God knows those that are His. It is easier to accept rejection from non believers, But those who claim to be believers that reject sound teaching, is harder to accept and grievous to the soul. What I usually do is go back over what I shared to make sure I did not alter anything by my own self will. Paul often had to defend himself regularly. (2 Cor. 4:1-6) (2 Cor. 11:16-33) (2 Cor. 12:1-21)

ez,
I tried to help you use your God given senses once before when you were teaching these lies, I will not ever make that mistake again. I will, however warn any new and not yet grounded Christians, that usually occurs within the first five years, that your teaching has nothing to do with scripture and is therefore labeled by me and any other caring, loving Christ follower, as Heresy, straight from the pits of Hell.

The connected passage is in the last third of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 7:13. 14. It teaches exactly the opposite of what ez is teaching. Th Broad Path is the path into Hell! If you new and young Christians do anything else, learn to spend fifteen minutes every morning over a cup of your favorite brew and read three chapters from the scriptures. It will see you having read the entire Bible for that year and then January the first, begin again.

Every time you read through, praying for the Father to open the Word to you and God will reveal a new truth to you, often from the same verses. But please learn the first, usually, six words of Mal. 3:6 because it is true, God never changes.
