Bible Study Yahweh's Loving Instruction Thru The Torah.

If you were on that Spiritual narrow road, then you would have heard my words, for they are spirit. But how can you hear my words when you are yet carnal? I have seen your fruit in the current events forum. Playing the role of the accuser, posting daily glorying in the sins of others, occupying yourself with the things of this world and immersing yourself in all things carnal. Therefore I should not expect for you to hear my word, even though you know it to be true, for it can only be spiritually discerned.

Have you forgotten your walk with the Lord so easily. Can you not even hear your own words? When you were lost and reveled in sin........ When Jesus called to you, and you came to Him, if you were boozing it up and reveling in sin, would you say you found Jesus in the Broadway or the Narrow?
First of all, neither I nor any other man, woman, nor child has found Jesus, He has found us to be His People. And then I was not accepted until I got off of the Broad Path and was seeking God. God gives to those that seek Him. (Proverbs 8:17)
 
Hay ez, The only way you can come up with your theory is to ignore The Scriptures I gave you.

It is not a theory of mine, simply what the scripture reads. Genesis 2. Not sure why you continue to exclude it. Does it not fit your doctrine?

How can I reference your teacher as in error? He is your teacher. Only you would know if your teacher is in error, You would have to take it up with him. Now it seems to me I made no suggestion of anyone being in error. I only said you should ask your teacher about Gen 2. If the notion of error fills your heart, then it comes from your teacher. But from my experience, we tend to reject the notion that we ourselves are the one in error, and we do not listen to the instruction of our teacher and take them to heart. Often times our carnal nature blinds us to our own pride, and then we tend to project our own condemnation or guilt of error into others so the sting isn't so great. But then we don't learn that which was meant for ourselves. Instead, the subtly of the serpent causes us to accuse others of that which we ourselves have done.

No one comes to Jesus unless the father calls them.
The brother didn't find Jesus. God called him to Jesus. And Jesus' truth resonated with Taylor and that is how he knew , without knowing at first as is the case with all of us, that it is becuase God's grace knew him by name before Taylor even had one.
 
...What I said is if you are lost and you are looking for Jesus, you will not find Him in the narrow way, because HE is looking for you out in the broad way, that is where you will find Him. Once you have found HIM, and you have come to the narrow gate, of course HE is on the narrow road with you. BUT, if you should lose Him along the way, then you have lost the narrow way, and you will not be able to find it again on your own. You can only find Jesus in the broad way, and only HE can lead you back to the narrow path.
Stay straight and narrow to the Truth. Twisting Scripture is twisting the path off the narrow into the broad. They are like guide posts on the road which leads a person off the track. They are deceptive and stumbling blocks.

The Spirit of Truth loves (rejoices) the Truth for that is where it originated from. It fills our heart with a "YES" and quenches us with Living Water. Twisted Scripture does not quench the heart, but empties it like a dry bone.

And, just, as is common with the unlearned, You have drawn out of it's natural context to allow a cheap shot. Thank you for the clear illustration of how to never read anything and your imputed meaning is a grossly accurate illustration of why I seek, always to teach people to keep it in context. Thank you for playing dumb as a rock.

I cannot judge him so. I've read others here judged in such a manner while demonstrating as that judge they are what they proclaim is evident in that one they judge. :sad Where is our mercy? Where is our oneness in community as those in Christ?
 
The prophet Jeremiah's old testament letter was sent from Jerusalem to those exiled by Nebuchadnezzar to Babylon. And still, verse 13 supports what Jesus said in the new testament. That no one comes to him but the father, which is the holy spirit, calls them.
 
I would think His desire is that all be saved.
Seek and find.
Knock and the door will be opened.
How is someone compelled to seek?
Notice something in virtually all of the pictures that are made to accompany those passages?

Those are your words Bill. I did not twist them, nor did I take them out of some context. Maybe you should be more careful in the words that you choose. Words carry meaning. Now if you feel that I took your statement out of context, or that I didn't somehow understand your meaning, then being a Christian who is on the Straight and Narrow path; why did you not extend the same courtesy to me?

Do I need to remind you of the scriptures? How you shall be judged in the manner that you judge others?

I don't know about dumb as a rock, but do not mock the Lord, for out of those dumb stones he is able to raise up children unto Himself. Dumb stones resurrected in Christ and made part of the Temple.

But this dumb old rock just doesn't seem to understand something. I really don't know what your uproar is all about, for you seem to be in agreement with me. I said you can not find Jesus on the narrow road, and you said "neither I nor any other man, woman, nor child has found Jesus".

Anyone with a sense of reason could say we both said you can not find Jesus. No man can come to Christ except the Father first draw him. And Jesus said behold, I stand at the door and knock, and if any man should open the door, then I shall come in and sup with him.


I don't know about you, but when He called to me, and when He did knock on my door, I was still very much on the broad way. In fact when He came to my door and knocked, I had left on vacation for a season or two; but when I had returned to mine own house, I found He had already broken in like a thief in the night. And while I was out, He cleaned out the place and began fixing it up, He even gathered up all the books that I had studied before and created for me a library.

But when I had return to mine own house I was weary from my wanderings, and the thief caught me off guard. But I didn't throw the thief out, I was to tired to fight, and I liked what what He did with the place. It was less cluttered, very much simplified, yet more peaceful than I could have ever done for myself. I was gone and could not invite Him into sup when he knocked; But the Thief, why He had a banquet prepared for me, and I have lacked for nothing since. And since have I have sat down with the Thief in mine own house to sup with Him on the meal He as prepared for me, I have not needed to use my Library, as beautiful as He set it, but it is there when He wants to show me what is written.

But unfortunately for some, when Jesus comes to the door and knocks, they are too embarrassed to answer to door. Their Lord stands at the door and knocks, but they know their own house is not as clean as they would profess to others; and while the Lord waits at the door, they find themselves trying to tidy up the place first.

By your own statement, you have declared the Scripture to be your guide, not Jesus: Not the Spirit of the Lord. You worry about the twisting of scriptures as if your idols could speak, and so you defend your idol vehemently, and call it blasphemy, because your idols can't defend themselves. They require you to defend them, because they can't speak. But if it could, it would tell you that Christ was made the Chief Stumbling Stone. The Lord also said that if you wanted to believe a lie, then He would send you strong delusion so that you would believe the lie. The Lord Himself is a Stumbling Block; Are you saying that the Lord is also deceptive? Well He did speak in parables!

Twisted scripture or not. There is no scripture that can quench the heart. Only the Spirit of the Lord can quench the heart. It is the scriptures, it is the Law that empties it like a dry bone.


For there is one who soars with eagles. A pastor of more than forty years wandering in the desert, acting like a carrier pigeon, delivering a message strapped to his thigh, but oblivious to the contents thereof. But this eagle still hungers and thirsts. For daily this eagle flies the same route like the dutiful carrier pigeon, looking for food and drink along the way. The eagle flies by the old testament in the morning but is not filled. In the afternoon, the eagle flies by the new testament, but again remains hungered for more. Searching daily and never coming into his rest, for the eagle was to prideful to come down and eat with the chicken of the pen. But if this carrier pigeon could hear but one of the messages strapped to his thigh, this chicken would tell him that Jesus said he who come to me will never hunger nor thirst. If this pigeon could only understand but this one thing, then he would not spend his days acting like a pigeon scouring for food, but with a cup that runeth over, why he could be as an eagle with the everlasting gospel. But for now, the eagle is just a carrier pigeon carrying scraps.

Another example of how you twist things around.

Every forum gets visited by false prophets, atheists, spiritual narcissists, and others who do satan's bidding without realizing it. They fear the very essence of faith, which is to be humble and meek, and willingness to be exposed and vulnerable of their false-self. Because of this, they cannot see their own truth. They end up convinced of their own twisted thinking as being superior logic.

It becomes pointless to converse with someone who cannot see their own truth. So...
Matthew 10:14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.

The Lord Himself is a Stumbling Block

1 Peter 2:6-8

Ah, if you only knew the true essence of faith, you would not need your bible to quote verses But the righteousness that it of faith....

Now if I were doing Satan's bidding, then I would be working to convince you to glory in the righteousness of the law. I would be posting daily in the Current Event and Politics forum trying to get the people to focus on the evils in the world instead of the Spirit of Christ. I would encourage them to speak out in judgement over other and issues of which they have no knowledge to make such judgement. If I were doing Satan's bidding then I would use their penchant for self righteousness and to authority of the law against them. I would would point out scriptures for them to use to accuse others of sin, and I then I would provide such justification that would allow such behavior. I would encourage others to join in with their condemnation, I would empower them with the knowledge to act as the accuser of the brethren, and I would encourage other to join in, because there is more comfort in numbers. When they see others doing it, I would encourage their boldness.

If I were doing Satan's bidding, then my work would be done when you have been schooled enough in the knowledge of sin and evil so that you were able to climb up in the seat of Moses comfortably for yourself, so that you might sit in the temple of God, showing yourself that you are god.
