Dear Fellow Christians,

SUBSTANCE OF FAITH NOT SEEN:

The Faith, which allows you to see, is given to you when God gives you the Faith to believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures. It is a GIFT from God to men. Without this Faith, one cannot be born again.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Once, you have received this Faith, you can begin to look for the evidence of things not seen as Hebrews 11:1 shows.

Hbr 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Notice that Faith is Substance and Evidence. Once you have been born Spiritually doesn't mean that you must accept everything else in Scripture, by Blind Faith, since it is now possible for you to look for the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, before you were made alive Spiritually.

That's what we must do, and it is really thrilling to discover the evidence of God, which I call PROOF of God, since it is PROOF to me. By Faith. I have also noticed that it's NOT evidence to Unbelievers and Pretenders, as they blaspheme God's Holy Word as myth, allegory, and fiction.

Also, another good example is one of the poster here (see above) who believes that faith is Just an intense idea -

Those who don't look for God's Truth will never find it, especially, our Pretenders.

This has never tripped me up. We get stuck on so many things and were going to say we know exactly who Christ is? It is written "let us". And said many times Christ seated at the right hand of the Father. Or the "angel" host of Gods army that let him worship Him...you never worship angels. So much more to this. Yet He is God yet is three.

God... someone something we can't even begin to comprehend. Who was who is who always shall be. For me anyone tht does not believe Jesus is God.. so what? Do you believe He came in the flesh died on the cross for the worlds sin was buried rose the 3rd day and is the only way to the Father.. THATS what matters. This is how I personally see and understand.

Its like I found this book you ask "ooh what's it about?" I say "here you read it". Again do you know Him as lord and savior? Knowing Him as God will that save any one? So we look at all this through a clouded glass.

We are to know the mind of Christ and who He is as not only the second person of the Godhead (Trinity) but to also have a personal relationship with Him knowing He is the "I Am" as we seek the deeper Spiritual things of Christ. We are saved by God's free gift of grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God as we matured into Spiritual understanding.

1Cor 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

The word, "Jehovah", never appears in the Greek NT. I read NT Greek and have taught it. However, what has the New World Translation of the JWs done? It has added the word "Jehovah" 237 times. You obviously know what the penalty is for that.

In the OT, the Tetragrammaton (YHWH) - translated as Yahweh or Jehovah - appears 7,000 times. However, in the 5,000 Greek NT manuscripts that have been found, not one of them includes "Jehovah".

They include theos (God), kurios (Lord), iesous (Jesus) and christos (Christ) but never jehovah.

Who is being honest with the evidence?
