I always thought that Christian values included honesty. We now know that even Exxon's researchers predicted man-made global warming, and the company took steps to prepare for it internally, even as it published denials publicly. So if truth matters, the Christian position would be to acknowledge the truth.

And now the deniers are howling that they have a right to insist that media give them a platform for their propaganda. They have a right to freedom of speech and freedom of press; they don't have a right to dictated to other people what they will say or print on their own press.

Freedom is your right to say and print what you want; it's not a right to demand that others let you use their stuff to do it. That's how it works in a free society. These guys want freedom for themselves on our nickel. That's what socialism is.

You lost me . If youtube runs any video and it has ads in it youtube makes money and the creator of the video get a cut of the money too . Am I right ?

So why would youtube want to stop running video's they make money on ? I find it a strange business model to eliminate things you are making money on . Don't you ?

If they think that the message is dishonest and likely to be damaging to our society, they might chose refusing the message over profit. Yes, I know that Facebook went the other way on that, but even Facebook took some steps to limit that kind of thing. At any rate, the owner of the site has the right to decide what will and will not be permitted on it within boundaries of the law. If the service amounts to a monopoly, there are already laws to deal with that.

It's noteworthy that when some media found some of that dishonest or harmful and banned it, other media appeared that are currently carrying even the worst of it, right to the edge of what is legal (or maybe even over the edge). Again, that's the nature of a free society.

I find it a strange business model to eliminate things you are making money on . Don't you ?

I guess it depends on what's most important to the owner.

Big Tech demonetized creators who questioned man-made global warming – a sign that censorship will continue for conservative (and Christian) content

that's why people have have migrated to rumble and bitchute - they aren't deniers as much as truth tellers who bring science into the mix rather than climate change conspiracy aka "we're-all-gonna-die-in-12-years-if-we-don't-stop-eating-meat-and-driving-cars"
