It would be interesting to see if lockdown works, even it should never have got to this stage because the first stage should have been prevent at boarder and there was lots of time for it.

Anyhow, I will be checking each day and hope the stats will slowly drop because lockdown sucks and I want to get off this level 4 at least.

When this is over, if or when it does, I still will not be happy, I will be asking questions.

This couldn't really have been prevented.
Lockdown works. It's working in Europe.
And it worked in China.

Alert level 1 should always be Prevent. Full Boarder lockdown. All who enter in the meantime and last flights auto quarantine.

You see this was recognised as a coronavirus by the world that can spread human to human at the start of January. Through January this was spreading around the world. We got our first case in Feb and locked down our boarders to the world I think it was in mid March. That's too late. Now I'm on lockdown as an individual.

I agree in theory...but difficult to do unless it's really necessary.
Did we know it would be this bad? This contagious?
We've had epidemics before....we never responded in this way.
Somehow or other, it would have gotten through (I believe).
We'll never know.
(what about people sneaking in from Canada, Mexico, and other countries through Mexico).

Italy was the first in Europe to stop flights. Did no good, but everything helps.

One person got sick up north near Milan and went to the hospital.
I THINK everyone in the hospital, or almost everyone, got sick. But some were released thinking is was pneumonia and A LOT of people have it up there now.

One person coming back from china BEFORE we knew could have brought it back. Quarantine everyone that was outside the U.S.?
is this even possible?

We will make it as God always brings us through trails and tribulations as long as we trust and have faith in Him and I pray God puts a hedge around all of us. Everyone stay safe and only go out if you have to.

Of course I a home body anyway so this doesn't bother me to stay at home.

the news isn't reporting the whole story. china has riots, and they aren't exactly telling the truth.

Oh, I guess I have won heaviest amberjack of the month at the club because I was winning before lockdown, but once again it's an award I dont really deserve because lockdown stopped my competition even it's near guarantee I would have won anyhow.

Each month one fish gets drawn and heaviest for that month wins, and it just so happened to be my speciality and the first time I actually decided to start weighing fish. I currently have heaviest in another category for the yearly comp only because no one else has weighed one in. Lol.

Yearly comp is better anyhow and I will still win heaviest and average weight for the year.

Here is a firsthand perspective of what happens with this virus. These are the nurses and staff from the Lifecare Center in Kirkland that had the first cases. Not to scare people, but I guess to show why all the precautions taken for the non-spreading of it.

All it comes down to is boarders as that's the wall. Even within countries is more boarders. Different regions could be blocked off and travel banned outside that region. This managed to spread everywhere.


It's not a regional lockdown but a nationwide lockdown. It got that far.

All I can say is major fail. Only you as a individual can defend and protect yourself. You are your own wall and shield.

I am on individual lockdown now because the truth does not lie. The arrows are flying inside now and I have to put up my own shield to protect and defend myself and those close to me. I have always done that anyhow.

The government is there to help, defend, and protect us. That's why they placed us all on individual lockdown as the enemy is inside.
