Sorry but you will need to provide Chapter and verse scripture to validate you theory.
"in Christ", or to abide means this...

If you need more, let me know.

"""" Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name

But ye have received the Spirit of adoption

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live """""

Spiritual Union with God, which is why a person is "in Christ" (abides IN Christ) is not caused by commandments, so, they have no effect on it.

Commandment keeping is self effort.
Self effort is not related to salvation.
So, your idea of abiding is to try to stay saved, by commandment keeping.
It more then obvious that you believe that you can lose your salvation, and that
is why you are so involved with the self effort of commandment keeping.
As your theology is....>"as long as i keep commandments" i stay saved, and if i dont, then i lose my salvation.""
Now, isn't that true?

Still no scripture.

Please address the scripture I quoted which refers to born again Christians remaining in Christ.

Here is how we are instructed to remain in Christ.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

Please brother, stop making up things that are not found in scripture.

Keeping His commandments are how we love God and love His people, and how we are instructed to remain in Christ.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

Keeping His commandments are not burdensome, for those who are empowered by His Spirit.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:2-3

I hope you see that keeping His commandments is something that we should all agree on. Every Born Again should be taught to practice righteousness, loving God and loving our neighbor.

If you struggle with telling the truth, or not committing adultery or stealing from your neighbor, or covetousness then please go to God and repent, and ask Him to forgive and cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Really?
That's interesting, as i posted these for you in post #21.
Maybe you should not text and drive.

Please be honest.
See, when you accuse someone of making things up, no proof.......only because you are afraid to admit you believe you can lose your salvation.........when you attempt to dodge my question i asked you about that, by trying to insinuate falsely that im "making things up".......thats dishonest.
See, i dont make things up. I post verses, and teach clearly.
And when i told you that you believe you can lose your salvation, i was not making that up.
How is that? Its because i can see you through your theology, clearly.
Ive met thousands of commandment keeping self saviors.
Your theology is the rule in Christianity, as of '2021, in the end times. As Legalism, is everywhere.
I can hear your constant need to worry about commandments.
Its all you can post.
You are very transparent, in that regard, JLB.
Believe it.

Romans 8:36-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you believe born again Christians who live their life as liars, adulterers, homosexual’s , murders and the like, breaking His commandments, continue to remain in Christ, that is your choice.
I personally don’t. I choose to believe the scriptures.

Keeping His commandments are how we love God and love His people, and how we are instructed to remain in Christ.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Jeremiah 31:33

He has written His laws and commandments on our heart and in our
mind so that we who are filled with His Spirit, and are led by His Spirit, practice righteousness; loving our God and loving our neighbor.

I am addressing the subject of you reviling people who desire to please God by obeying Him, and His doctrine and commandments as being legalistic.

You seem to have run ins with people in every forum you attend, and have said some ugly things about them.

Im trying to reason with you, from the scriptures about the subject of His Commandments which He has written on our heart and mind.

We are not to ignore these commandments but rather we are to obey them.

So I stated a scripture that teaches about remaining in Christ.

Here’s how we are instructed in the Bible to remain in Christ:

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

Some people are interested in remaining in Christ. Those who walk in truth, loving God and loving people, are those who remain in Christ.

Christians who live their lives hating their brother, by stealing from him, or lying to him with false doctrine or committing adultery with his neighbors wife and the like, are those who hate their brother.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:8

  • and all liars shall have their part in the lake

Yes, key phrase “in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Those who are no longer in Christ are separated from Him.

I‘m showing the scriptures that teach us how to remain in Christ.

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:1-2

Nothing here about “remaining” or “abiding in Christ”.

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; … John 15:1-2

Fruitful branches, which are people who are fruitful, reproducing His love and righteousness are those who remain in Christ.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
John 15:10

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:3-4

  • by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

Do you understand what the phrase “know Him” means?

  • He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1.) When did you decide to believe that the eternal sacrifice of God's blood and death on the Cross, that saved you, is not able to keep you saved?
Who taught you this?

2.) When did you decide to believe that the Grace of God is you trying to keep commandments to try to keep yourself saved?
Who taught you this?

3.) When did you decide to believe that to abide in Christ means that you are to try to keep yourself saved by commandment keeping?

If you cant, then I will take it as trolling and goading, as well as mispresenting what I say.

This is your final warning about your tactics of making up things I didn't say, to misrepresent me.

Please post the chapter and verse that says the eternal blood of Jesus keeps us saved.

Jesus is the eternal blood of God.
Jesus sacrifice is a One time eternal sacrifice.
Hebrews 10. ""after JESUS = had offered ONE sacrifice for sins FOREVER, (Himself) He sat down at the right hand of God,""

Do you know the definition of the words....>. "ONE"...."Sacrifice"...."Sins"....>"FOREVER"?

Why dont you know anything about this?
Why dont you know that a "one time sacrifice for sins Forever FOREVER FOREVER FOREVER =" is ETERNAL, or it would have to be repeated.
Do you think the Lamb who is now become the LION is coming back to repeat that CROSS for you?

Notice that Jesus said from the Cross after offering a ""FOREVER sacrifice for SINS"..= "It is FINISHED/Accomplished"..

Yet, you are TRYING TO keep commandments to try to finish your salvation.
Why is that?
Who taught you to believe you have to do that?

Do you not know that Jesus is GOD?
Do you not understand that Jesus on the Cross, is GOD on the Cross, shedding GOD's BLOOD?
That's GOD's Blood that Jesus shed. This is why it pays for SIN of the WORLD. "FOREVER"
"FOREVER"
"FOREVER".

If it was your blood, then it would pay for nothing.
But because its GOD's BLOOD< it has POWER to redeem all sin...FOREVER.
Do you not know that God's Blood has Power?
Are you newly saved?
What is the problem?

There is "POWER, POWER,..... WONDER WORKING POWER...... IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB".

"What can wash away MY SIN>...NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS".

See that POWER?
Everyone knows about it but you. Why is that?
100 yr old HYMNS sing about the power of God's blood while you run around talking about "commandments, commandments, commmandments", in 50 posts to me , on 12 of MY Threads.

Who taught you that legalism stuff?
-----------------------------------------------------

So, is God ETERNAL?
Then is God's Blood ETERNAL?
Did i hear you think "YES".

Does God's BLOOD that was shed as Christ on THE CROSS, 2000+ years ago, still have the ETERNAL POWER to SAVE Today, 2000 yrs later?
Do you want to ask the thousands that 2000 yr old SHED BLOOD saved today, why you want to talk about commandments, commandments, commandments, commandment and try to PROVE that you can lose your salvation? ????? ?

So , yeah......God's blood is eternal Salvation.
Final ANSWER.

Its been saving humanity from their sin, for 2000+ years, and after you are DEAD, it'll still be saving MORE.

So, do you think God's ETERNAL Blood of CHRIST can't keep you saved?
Yes you do.
You believe you can lose your salvation. You try to prove this on this Forum, on my Threads, and not just there. You have told so many people this, by teaching that commandments keep you saved.

Well, not according to God's Blood.
Think on that.

Were they born again?

This is unclear in the scriptures.

We only know they tried to lie about money.
This happens a lot in "churches"..
Of course not.
They were covetous liars.
The disobedient are never "reborn" people.
They still walk after the flesh.

I'll add that the disobedience is the way to tell if someone is born of God or not.
Those you say are trying to save themselves by obeying commands from God, are the reborn.
Those who don't obey God are not reborn.
Obedience is a trait of the divine nature the reborn have received from God.
Your dismissal of obedience, your castigation of obedience, leads me to dismiss all you write.
I'll pray for those in the foreign lands that you have led astray.

Those who are trying to save themselves by commandments, are "fallen from Grace".

Y0u dont "save yourself"....as that is impossible, and to think that you do, or to teach that you can, is some deep heresy.
