Aw, he cares! Lol

Luke 2:39-52 is the corresponding passage to Isaiah 7:10-19

Verse 39 of Luke chapter two speaks of the curds and honey of Isaiah. Mary also speaks of the same meaning. As does the liberty that Jesus had to return to Nazareth and to his extended family and friends. In all thing He was blessed - even in the temple He was received and wondered at. At aged 12 he was able to enter into his manhood (13) just a few months later to begin his obedience that took Him to the river Jordan and to the witness of the Father and to the Cross. Caring is not how we imagine it when we have endured trials in our infancy. Forgive me for being so plain, brother.

During early 2,000 , I experienced Matthew 21:44, Ezekiel 13:10-16, Isaiah 38:10-20, and began walking out Luke 9:23, which after 20 years of fire, led to the completion of the inner circumcision. Six weeks later, Yeshua resurrected in my heart. I've been having my own personal revival ever since. The anointing has remained with me and I'm in the Lord's presence at will. We've had some pretty awesome times!

We are all Jews who are circumcised of the heart brother - even the vilest among us (yet I speak of myself in that regard to vileness) . I am not being humble - I am speaking the truth. I can't write any further because I do not have the liberty. But I do rejoice that you have found liberty to speak of Christ risen in your heart. May the Lord richly bless you and grant you a full obedience for His glory. Amen.

I am what I am...a child of the great I Am.
By the blood of the Lamb, the Lamb who was slain.
I'm precious in His sight...the apple of His eye.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

You knew me...You formed me
You chose me...You called me
You love me just like you love Yeshua
You delight in me! tc

My Daddy loves me...just the way I am! Hallelujah! Lol

I was an occult esoteric theosophist and when I was converted in 1984 I was finishing my writings that would have led to my setting up an Occult Order that had Satanic predications.
Praise God :clap you are no longer on that path!
There are sources that speak of Princess Scota and Princess Scotia of Egypt in Irish chronicles dated to the 11 Century and assign the Scots people as having decent from her and those who came with her to Ireland and then (Scotland).
Thanks for the history lesson :) . You gave me a lot of things to chew on . I am surprised that there is not a movie (at least I could not find one :shrug ) about Princess Scota or Scotia . I did find a book which I will have my researcher read and give a report on . Scota's Harp

It is my opinion that the days of 'revival' are over.

Could God bring one? Of course He could. But would He?

The Church is slowly being moved out of the way for the secular world. It is dying in numbers, and has died in many places, where the former church buildings are nothing but museums of days gone by.

God is in the completion stage of His work with the Church and about to begin His final work with Israel. My opinion.

Perhaps the coming revival will restore Israel, uniting the two sticks! By golly, I think you're onto something!

I do not think that I would disagree with the general thrust of what you have shared - other than the question of would God sovereignly act to revive His Church.

To use your precept - the very issue is the completion of the Church. If that is a mere fact of numbers then there is no way to speak of it and no way to know when it is done. When it is done, however, in that meaning of living stones, then Israel becomes the focus of God.

Norman has already expressed his emphasis and that is a unifying effect of the Church and Israel becoming one vine - in essence it means Israel being grafted backing the Vine. What I would say to that is what I already said to Norman in this OP - in Christ - who is the Vine - the two have already been made into one new man. That meaning cannot be overlooked in our zeal to see Israel enter into a New Covenant with God - unless it is a true Covenant written in Christ' own blood. So the substance of Norman's hope would have to be in preaching the Gospel of Christ to Israel. If that is to be revival as Norman expresses his by golly (a rather unfortunate racist term - only kidding Norman) then there would be no need for anyone to open there mouths.

That was the purpose of posting the video narration of the Hebridean Revival on page one. Most of the people who were saved in that revival didn't hear the gospel. You may want to listen to it yourself. That account is on the Island of Berneray - but the revival left no part of the Hebrides untouched and it was a most astonishing event by any reckoning. At its heart the character of God that was most expressed was His sovereignty - and not His love as we are endlessly to imagine that we should always speak of His love - and cannot also fathom that He is also sovereign and bears witness of Himself in power. There were earth tremors during that revival. I knew some of the men who were its lead servants and they mostly prayed in the hearing of the churches and groups of people who were taken by God contrary to their own understanding and then were saved by either hearing prayers or else in most cases whilst going about their ordinary business.

For myself I am concerned by the present condition of the churches - not to speak of their number - but to speak of the readiness of all believers to meet Christ. Of course that is a geographical meaning as one-man - but I am not alone and a few of us have been labouring for nearly 40 years to prepare for the sovereign hand of God to visit His people in Christ and to cause them to become sober and wholly determined to put away carnality and the flesh - be that weakness or sin - and to dress in readiness to greet the Lord at His return. I also know of many brethren who are in the same mind across the world.

I could share why I have a hope in these things - but for now I have said enough. God Bless.

Well, God has revealed to me that I'm a northern kingdom, house of Israel, Ephra'im, if you will, Levite, for some reason. I think this coming revival will restore the kingdom of God to the reunited, full 12-tribe Israel.
Of which, the church is a part of. What happens to Dan, I don't know.

Assemble yourselves that I may tell you what will befall you in the days to come. Gather together and hear, O sons of Jacob; And listen to Israel your father.” Genesis 49

This is Jacob’s prophecy concerning the future character of Dan taken from Genesis chapter 49.

“Dan shall judge his people, As one of the tribes of Israel. “Dan shall be a serpent in the way, A horned snake in the path, That bites the horse’s heels, So that his rider falls backward."

But where is he in Revelation?

But where is he in Revelation?

Dan is not found in the 144,000 - yet he may be found in Revelation. I will leave you to seek your own answer, brother. Are you distressed that Dan is cut off from Israel because he is to judge Israel in the tribulation? Ask the Lord what manner of judgement that would be by Dan on Israel in the tribulation and you will find your answer.

So I assume that means you won't tell me.

Brother, to properly answer your question would take more effort than I have time to expand.

But for what it is worth my view is this:

Dan is not listed in the twelve tribes of Revelation - just as by the time of Ezra the tribe of Dan had been utterly lost - As the progeny of Amalek were a continuous cause of stumbling to Israel because of the disobedience of King Saul for which disobedience was king Saul cut off from being king - so Dan is not lost despite his gross sin of Idolatry and fornication. Just as Saul was not lost when Samuel being raised from his sleep by the witch of En'dor told Saul that the next day he would be with him in the same place as he was. In the 42 weeks of the great tribulation Dan will judge Israel and that judgement will be vile and contrary to Christ.

If you read Genesis 49 complete you can see that the expression "I have waited for thy salvation O Lord" appears after Dan is cited as a future judge of Israel and a horned serpent in the way causing the rider to fall back.

לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֖ קִוִּ֥יתִי יְהוָֽה׃ (v18)

(v18) I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.

The word ישׁוּעָתְ is used in speaking of God’s deliverance.

yeshu’sh (יְשׁוּעָה) or יְשׁוּעָה (yâshuwʿah) from yasha (יָשַׁע,)

This same deliverance of God is used in other passages of Scripture, but here in this verse, this is the first time the word is used. It is the same in meaning as God is my deliverer. The Hebrew word ישׁוּעָתְ, employed in Exodus 17:9 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֤ה אֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ בְּחַר־לָ֣נוּ, is translated, Joshua. The Greek name Iesous (Ιησου̂ς) [Jesus] is a transliteration of the Hebrew name, Joshua, meaning, Jehovah is salvation. Literally, Saviour.

As it is written, “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21).

So Dan is linked to waiting for his saviour by first being a judge of Israel and a horned serpent. It ought not to be too difficult to ascribe the tribe of Dan to the abominations in Jerusalem - but it is not for me to tell you what I believe unless the Lord expressly tells me to. So no, brother, I won't tell you. Besides your love of Israel is too sweet to make bitter by things which will not come into your portion - unless it does - as you say the Lord has spoken to you - then let the Lord speak to you on this matter also. I do understand why you are concerned, brother but the half tribe will suffice in Jerusalem. Amen

I can't hardly talk about Ephraim without breaking down in tears. And what happened with Benjamin, it just goes on and on. It's all so tragic...but the Lord is faithful...it's the future I look to. Mr. Davidiy is such an encouragement to me. And Rav Dror Moshe...Paul of the house of Aaron...and these guys are orthodox...Moshe's the only one I know and that's online. I know they're not perfect and I know they need Messiah...but they've all blessed me in one way or another.
Thank you. Shalom

Revival Comes (Yellow).jpg

It isn't necessary to know many things in life to be a good steward for the Lord and to live a victorious life over our weak members (body) and the sin that comes from our hearts when we stray from the Lord. Neither is it necessary to cite strict doctrines beyond doctrines of life to be sound in our understanding minds and to resist being judgmental and condemnatory when we speak about our walks.

So in thinking on how to share what I have learned and to be entirely transparent about my own failures and weaknesses over the years I have often seen revival as a purposeful thing - even though I recognise that any true revival must be a sovereign act of God. Revival of the Saints is for myself a reality that has occupied my thoughts since the day I was saved. Incredible as it may seem, when I first got saved I actually remember looking at myself and believing that I would never sin again. Then the Lord showed me that I was already sinning even then.

I was in solitary confinement at the time and my life had been a terrible mess for most of the previous seven years from when I was released from local authority care with no support and no means to even understand the harm that had been done to me at home before being taken into care and at special needs school where I was sexually abused for years. And yet despite being in this condition - being saved made me think about the harm I had done to others and so I asked the Father why He hadn't simply saved me when I was leaving special needs care so that others could have been spared my sinful and criminal behaviour.

The Lord spoke to me in the spirit of my new mind and said, "I want you the way you are." Instantly I knew that this answer from the Father was not addressing my question directly because I knew in the Spirit that it was not possible that the Father had wanted me to harm others during my wilderness years of confusion and fear. I then began to discern that the Father had spoken of my childhood years right back to my mothers womb until I was nearly seventeen years old. No sooner had that begun to sink in than the Father removed the thoughts that would rise from such a revelation. It has taken me from that time in May 1984 to this hour to become fully persuaded on how to answer for that meaning of God and to speak about the truly fearful reality of what it means when the Father in heaven reveals Himself in the Spirit and removes a man from his appalling life of debauchery, immorality, occult and satanic ambitions and unspeakable anger and fear and shows him how the enemy of our souls utilises the flesh of all those who have charge over us to instigate rebellion against God and harm against others, because as children we must obey our parents to please God and those in authority in other places to agree with God and be used by Him for His own glory through the Lord Jesus Christ.

In that sober meaning I cannot therefore simply speak of harm else I have made harm an idol of the flesh. And neither can I speak so as to lack compassion and understanding for others, as though I did not know what harm is. It also pleased the Father within one year of my completion of the ten months I had left in solitary confinement to give a wife and by my wife a son. He was born severely brain damaged and to this day more than three decades later he is still in his broken body and mind. Yet he is a means of the Lord to tie me down and to never permit me to stray back into the occult or the flesh of rebellion. Yet my first born son is at peace and knows the Lord and is alive in Christ. He also has a promise of God on his life and when he is forty years old the Father will deliver him sufficiently well to cause my son to serve Him and bring glory to His name. But I must be plain about my meanings. There is only one means by which the Father has appointed to bring all our lives to maturity and a full obedience. And that is by the Cross of Christ - both the acceptable sacrifice of His obedience unto death and the shedding of His blood for our sin - but also the rough hewn timber of the grave. For the Cross is also whereon we died in Him and through baptism we are buried with Him else neither can we also be found in His life. Nor will we know the resurrection of Christ nor the victory over sin, the flesh and the devil.

So, seeing as I have witnessed realities of harm in the churches and the awful pain that many believers endure because of their fathers and mothers, policemen and Judges, Doctors and teachers and most awfully - one another all to often - it is revival of the saints that concerns myself and it is revival that the Father has promised as one measure among other measures that He will sovereignly bring to our lives that will give us the power to finally stand in obedience and give to Christ the praise that is His worth - and to ourselves the reward of His kingdom on earth for a thousand years when He returns in the glory of the Father and we hear those joyous words, "well done my good and faithful servant." If we cannot enter in then we will be put out.

I'm a strong believer that revival starts within oneself to be Spiritually prepared to be that faithful servant of the Lord to continue in that massive commission of taking His Gospel message of His mercy and grace out into the world. When we learn to completely die to self and pick up our cross then we follow in His footsteps as we let the light of Christ shine through us so that others will see the greatest love we need to have for one another.

Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

If Pilgrim walked a thousand leagues, o’er coals and shards of broken pain.
If once to look the narrow way, with questioned hope and self restraint.
If right and left were set before, and straight the way made good and clear.
With ever thoughts of ease did labour on, refusing all the Cross to bear.

What profit in these things would find, a man with no distain for fleshy life?
What purpose in these things would show, if comprehending nought but certain woes?
To wink sweet vanity and self repose, discomfort all and looks of being shamed,
Take nothing more than foolish gain, and in it all be found alone?

To press with joy the narrow way, makes nothing sure its course ne’er run.
Nor left nor right but straight and true, will of itself accomplish none.
Except ye first conceive to know, what lies ahead this way to go,
And by such choosing grasp this truth, that Christ Himself bore man’s reproof.

To look ahead in purpose straight, a profit for our Lord to reap.
It will be found in certain measure, the fool has run himself to gain.
But gain for self and none for Christ, is gain not all but gain for one.
Though gain had been as He did gain, would gain for all and gain indeed.

Ahead the road is made “The Cross” and so The Cross is sought for hope.
Faith and Truth that in His body won, the cost of life was borne in full.
And there is set another measure, the scales of which weigh works and deeds.
Now will that man take more concern, to labour well by Christ indeed.

Walk on walk on a thousand leagues, we labour now no more concerned.
With worthless purpose vain conceit, with faithless thoughts and foolish faith.
Cast down to furrowed ground made good, where seed will die and broken, grow.
Thirty, sixty and an hundred fold, thy portion Lord thy harvest knows.

And when by faith at journey on, obedience still remains and hopes.
Ne’er left nor right but straight and true, the fullness of thy servant makes.
To look and then to comprehend, great weights and scales are set before.
In one last cry in Hope secure. to throw ourselves upon thy rest.

For though we walk ten thousand leagues, or bear The Cross as set before.
It is The Cross behind us now, that Christ our Lord and Saviour bore.
What count we now our little done, if done in strength and of our own?
If not His strength but ours we labour, we would have laboured not at all.

Tis all His gain tis all His good. Ours the chaff before the wind.
Would better yet to labour not, than labour false ne’er true to Him.
When harvest comes and wheat and tares, are by His word made clear,
We find that tares are we and sure. what wail and cry, what gnash of teeth.

Consider Christ and all His efforts, consider Christ His labours done.
Consider God His purpose known, to bring us all to Christ His Son.
With selfish thoughts and ease we see the loss which faithless labour proves.
Consider Christ in Truth and Hope, gave His life that we might choose.

Though choice by Christ will not in measure, of just one soul by foolish labour.
It will by many as the sand, which would not go that narrow way.
And having chosen Christ and all. let Christ and all be to our choice.
Made certain by our choosing Him. The narrow way of Christ at last.
