"Because Roger...
JUSTICE means to give to each one what he deserves."
If he is getting that which he deserves, then by definition, that which is deserved is, or can be different between people. If so, then what separates is in an inherent ability for each to do or to not do something to earn what is deserved: a distinction. How would you explain your use of "deserves" and what it means?
Getting what one deserves is not an inherent ability.
If it's inherent, how could I deserve anything? It was there when I was born.
Remember, we're discussing God here, not human qualities.
With GOD, we will get what we deserve.
Jesus said in John
5:28-29 that we will receive judgment for what we have done...
for what we deserve.
27and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
28“Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,
29and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.
If we seek Jesus, we will be rewarded, if not we will be lost...
we will get what we deserve.
John 5:39-40
39“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me;
40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.
IF we obey Jesus, we will be saved..
.we will deserve it.
John 8:51
51“Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death.”
I said there is no mystery as to what the condemnation is. Regarding whom God has chosen,
had He informed us of His criteria (were there one, other than just of His pure selection,) then we would attempt to make that criteria into a work to try to achieve it, making it no more by grace but by work. Basically, it is that God chose whom He chose. You are looking to maneuver grace into work, instead of as a free gift.
And here we go. We are dealing here, according to you, with a God that DOES NOT love His very creation (us),
a God that does not care to let us in on His secret of HOW we can become saved...in fact, He HIDES it from His creation.
and why?
Oh gosh...we might actually DO WHAT HE WISHES and become saved!!
Can't have that!
Maybe you don't really understand what grace is.
You sure do speak about it a lot.
But do you understand what it is...
I'm starting to doubt it.
There are books written on grace....
It is God's love for us, His mercy for us,
God loves us before we do ANYTHING for Him and He desires us to love Him back.
A real love, not a coerced love which He programmed into us from the beginning of the world.
We do not deserve this love from God...but He reveals Himself because He wants us to love Him,
He made us for love.
We must decide, however, within our life-time whether or not we want this relationship with God almighty.
If not, we will be lost and that will be what we deserve.
GRACE (חֶסֶד, chesed; “grace, mercy, steadfast love, compassion”; חֵן, chen; “grace, graciousness, kindness”; χάρις, charis; “grace, favor, graciousness, goodwill”). Gracious or merciful behavior of a more powerful person toward another. Displayed by the Lord toward humankind and by people towards each other in the Old Testament. Used to describe God or Christ in their merciful character or actions toward humankind in the New Testament. Spiritual gifts are described as “graces.” A literary device used at the beginning or end of many New Testament letters.

Gracious, the Hebrew word channun, in its verb form, means to be considerate, to show favor. That God is gracious would mean that he is favorably inclined toward us. That he wants to show favor to us. To do what is best for us.
God is gracious. Graciousness is not something that he puts on and takes off depending on the situation. He is always gracious. He does not decide to show us grace. Rather it is just who he is. Because he is gracious he demonstrates grace in everything he does.
