During their "Judgment" it was determined "those who believe the Gospel of Christ preached to them" are among "the many" Christ was offered to bear the sins for. But they cannot cross over from Hades (Lk. 16 :26) to paradise where the redeemed are with Abraham. They have to wait in the "neutral part" of Hades until Christ's second coming, THEN the dead in Christ rise to meet Him in the air:

During Christ's parousia ("coming") those He brough with Him and the dead in Him in Hades, rise in supernatural bodies like Christ's. They are changed in a "twinkling of an eye", reunited with their glorious resurrection body that is infused with life, immortality, power like the resurrection body of Christ:

Every human being "at conception" are "dead in Adam" seperated from God. Only in Christ can they be made alive:

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Cor. 15:22 NKJ)

Doesn't matter if the child died in the womb, or after being born or after living 100 years. All are "dead", separated from God just as Adam and Eve were since they ate of the Tree and "died" sinful. They passed their dead sinful nature to all human offspring. Only by belief in Christ can what is dead, become alive:

Christ's sacrifice gives life through the Eternal Spirit (Hebrews c. 9), is offered for sins in the timeless Heavenly Holy of Holies, having infinite value to save because its the blood of God's only begotten Son, God's blood:

That theory isn't in scripture. Man became a living soul when God breathed into it animating spirit. When animating spirit departs, returns to the true God who made it, the soul becomes "dead", weak powerless, a shade of its former self. Its still called soul, but its naked and weak.

Not wicked, just lost. You insist God do as you like, and save them. God insists all born in Adam believe and obey His Son, then when they agree, the sacrifice of Christ redeems them, and they are "found", acheiving At-One-Ment with God.

God sacrificed His Son to make this possible, all refusal to do it God's way is sinful.

An analogy. You see people drowing so you send rescue boats to save them. But they must cry out they want to be saved, otherwise they are doing what they chose to do and you have no desire to force them to be saved. That is against your loving character.

An analogy: God is Water, we are beings of fire. If we try to enter the Water, we are snuffed out.
