Is baptism required for salvation?

Have you never heard of death bed confessions of faith?

I have. Here’s one from scripture.

Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
Luke 23:42-43

He confessed Jesus as Lord.
He certainly believed Jesus would be raised from the dead, and come into His kingdom.

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Water baptism is not required for salvation.

just like circumcision in the OT. it was commanded by God. but done by a sinner who needed saved also.

Whether it be the old or new covenant, it's all about faith in God. If I understand you right, what you say here would mean that Jesus lied to the thief being with Him in paradise that day before either of them died, Luke 23:39-43.

The authentic Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ who wrote scripture under the guiding inspiration of the Holy Spirit is what I trust.


The Catholic Church is a religious organization that sprang up in 380 AD and that has murdered and tortured more Christians than Hitler murdered Jews

A Religious organization that has a multi billion dollar headquarters in Rome, with a sun god obelisk in their courtyard dedicate to Horus and charges money to allow people to get out of purgatory (a fictional pagan place of torment) is an abomination in the sight of God.

Come out from her you people of God a be separate from it, lest you partake of her judgement.

it was already formed while they were still writing the word of God in scripture

each of us who belong add to the foundation as it is being built up.

the doctrines the catholic church teach however. did not begin until Constantine, who decided he was going to be Christian and make the roman empire Christian. How do you think he prevented a pagan civilization (apposed to christ and his people) to accept Christianity?
