As a career, you know. So should Christian girls take a dancing contract and stuff like that?
It depends on alot of things.Like Gary said what kind of dancing? Would anything in that career distract her from God?
That is what I am thinking. Most situations, the answer would probably be no.
It all depends on what that involves and if the worldly demands come into that. You would think that being a model is ok but it definately is not. There's nothing wrong with ballet I guess...
Being a model doesn't have to be a negative thing any more than dancing. It all depends on what that involves and if the worldly demands come into that. You would think that being a model is ok but it definately is not.
It all depends on what your agent wants you to do.It all depends on how far you go in modeling. If you are modeling for some local clothing stores it can be ok.It also depends on what they want you to model.Should a model who is a Christian model clothing that is not modest? I do know for a fact that a famous model gets into some very shadey areas. She may also get very involved with vanity. It also depends on if that ballerina is looking at God first in her career. If she is very good fame, fortune and power will come into it.Their is alot of politics behind the scenes that we also are not aware of.Being a model doesn't have to be a negative thing any more than dancing.

Exactly.I am looking at the Christian choices that a person needs to make.Always keeping God number one in your life.So it really isn't about dancing or modeling at all. It's about the attitude of the person and the choices they make in those careers.
if the t is pronounced then what? There's nothing wrong with ballet I guess...

You made a good point about what type of clothes. I'd say the clothing should be modest. It all depends on what your agent wants you to do.It all depends on how far you go in modeling. If you are modeling for some local clothing stores it can be ok.It also depends on what they want you to model.Should a model who is a Christian model clothing that is not modest? I know two friends who were models but they were only models locally. They do have agents looking at you from time to time for high fashion modeling as in Vogue Magazine. That is when the trouble begins. They said it could be intense because you came in when they wanted you to come in to be photographed. It did not matter what you were doing. You did what they said or you were out. They money was really, really good. You made a good point about what type of clothes. I'd say the clothing should be modest.
