    imo There is nothing mystical about olive oil, never was. But is a symbol or type. I don't see anything wrong with using it for spiritual things. If it is necessary then millions even billions are in trouble with God for not using it.

They lease :), as Jason put it, their seats in the synagague in order to support the maintenance of their church and maybe to pay the Rabbi too, not sure about that.     I agree. It also says to me that the working out of my salvation began in the past at my reconciliation through the Christ, is presently being worked out, and will be complete in the future when I stand before my Maker. That is my hope by the grace of God through faith.
