I should have put a "?" as I didn't want to make a statment as if I was saying who the witnesses were.
The thing is, all prophecy comes from God's two witness's. When angels speak to prophets they prophecy. Angels prophecy and they are prophets.
Who spoke to Moses and Elijah?
Has anyone ever spoke to God face to face without an angel giving prophecy?
Those are angels. Gabriel is not called an archangel, but Michael is. So very powerful angels, but definitely NOT the two witnesses of Revelation 11, who are called "prophets" and killed by the Antichrist for their faithful Gospel ministry to the Jews.Michael and Gabriel.
According to the miracles described therein, they are none other than Moses and Elijah, both of which met with Christ at His Transfiguration.
Who ever they may be I believe the Holy Spirit will guide us to the truth we need to know.
I find the posts of Edward for_his_glory and Nathan12 all very logical
For many years I have believed it to be the old testament and new Testament. But now I am not sure
It could be two people.
Who ever they may be I believe the Holy Spirit will guide us to the truth we need to know.
When I got home from work I wanted to sign in here but didn't right away, I clicked on Youtube first and lo and behold what do you think came up?!
A video about who are the two witnesses to be! So that;s just spooky enough to make me think, yes God does want us to know and tada here it is.
And about John the Baptist being the fulfillment of the prophecy that Elijah will return is what Jesus said.
This brother here, who made this video, puts it all together with scripture...and it makes sense!
The two witnesses are the Jews and the gentiles who have received Christ and these two bodies of believers are them.
Enjoy! I did!
Please pay close attention to this Scripture:I think this is less likely. Jesus said that John the baptist had the spirit of Elijah, though John himself didn't seem to realize that.
Going to watch later. Battery on mobile running out. When I got home from work I wanted to sign in here but didn't right away, I clicked on Youtube first and lo and behold what do you think came up?!
