how, Babylon fell in the days of Daniel. we kinda never honestly were really a Christian nation. we had honor its values but that doesn't mean squat to god. just because a man like the torah doesn't mean he is savedDay 24 Isaiah sees the downfall of Babylon. I see the future of America in Babylon.
where is the threshing floor?

http://www.biblestudytools.com/commentaries/matthew-henry-complete/isaiah/7.html
you do realize that he died before the completion of his commentary. fellow pastors finished that he influenced. and did so in his name. they wanted his work and name to be spread that it was all him doing it.he also doesn't ,like Clarke take things as much to build a doctrine, they had their biases as we all but they took in the first audience and the events and context so much better then. that is why I like them. my elder who did teach theology likes the older commentaries for that reason.I really like MH's commentary. He fills in a lot of the history of what was going on, as well as his interpretation of spiritual signifigence.
Yup Jason we are influenced by what is already in our heads....

Mat 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Now quoting Peter
1Pe_2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
It is so cool how His Word speaks to us differently...
Day 27 Here we come to the end. The whole world lies in judgment because they failed to live by God's statues. Mankind heard these statues (covenants) from Noah, David and Moses. Yet the world devised their own set of rules, only to fail in the end. It seems to me that Revelation's tribulation finishes this story.
I don't know the answer to this question, could you give your thoughts on it and why you answer the question
the way you do.
Is the whole world and all the people in it, in the everlasting covenant that Isaiah says was broken in verse 24:5?
