Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is not at salvation

Why would I change my mind, I experienced Holy Spirit baptism first hand myself.

Of course there are those who give credit to satan for tongue speaking.
I know people who support that opinion.
Hopefully you are not one of them.
I believe crediting the work of the Holy Spirit to satan is dangerous.

hello Paoli, dirtfarmer here

Crediting the work of Satan to Christ is also dangerous. Consider in Acts 19:11-21, what happened to the seven sons of Sceva

There are religions who credit tongues/gibberish to satan.

Believers are the temple of God and indwelt by the Spirit......so they cannot be indwelt by demons or fallen angels.

Luke 11~~17But He knew their thoughts and said to them, “Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls.

then why should i change my mind with the experiences i have had ? if you would read my post you would know where i stand.

Yes, I know where you stand. No hard feelings.
You did not experience what I, and millions of Christians did.
That's clear.
But as I said, hopefully you don't credit speaking in tongues to satan.

that remains to be seen so your experience has given you what over what i dont have?

Iisaiah 8:19 KJV
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Come on now folks. Deal with scripture.

Ezekiel 12:2
"Son of man, you live in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see but do not see, ears to hear but do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.

Well....look at it this way.
If you say tongue speaking today is not according to the Bible....what is it?
I am being respectful, it's a valid question you should be able to answer.

we are done i told you go through my post and read everyone of them there you will find your answer let m e refresh your memory the post is about baptism of the spirit . the Bible says New Living Translation
Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. i am not a nlt fan .but i like how it is worded 1 Corinthians 12::12The body is a unit, though it is comprised of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ. 13For in one Spirit we were all baptizedinto one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free, and we were all given one Spirit to drink. once AGAIN NOTE it does not say speaking in tongues ..maybe this will get you back on track so look at this way read my remarks in each post you will find what i said

James 1:5 KJV
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

So the Gentiles (any men) lacked wisdom:
God sent answers
And
Some received their conversion
Till
The circumcision party arrived.

If I hear the wonderful works of God (truth) I will receive most anybody. I am a little hesitant to lay hands on suddenly.

If the human body attacks itself it has lupus.

If we devour each other?
Galatians 5:15

I will take a few days off.

It's a legitimate question and one that has been answered on this thread.

There have been episodes of demon possession, which is not to say that all tongues are demon based. Of course not.

There are many examples of emotionally based tongues. None of the commotion involved with tongues, such as running up and down the aisles fit Scripture.

Just saying.

What those who want to justify their own experiences haven't done yet is recognize that the gender is neuter for "but when completeness comes" in 1 Cor 13:10 - but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.

Because of the neuter gender, the phrase cannot refer to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. That would require the masculine gender.

Please address this neuter gender.
