Believe in God, you will be saved

You were a sinner once.
Not a child of God.
Did you call out to Him?
Did He hear you?
Yes i did, but not through prayer. I obeyed the gospel he gave me to obey. I heard the gospel preached, I believed it, I then repented confessed Christ before men and was baptized for the remission of my sins. This is exactly what he taught in the Great commission and this is exactly what every body did throughout the book of Acts Beginning in acts 2 with the conversions on pentecost. How much praying for salvation did they do. How much praying for salvation did Philip teach in all of acts 8? Did Saul pray to become a Christian? If so, where is that? Etc,
God is omnipresent.
He hears all prayers.
Says who? Im sure he can hear all prayers but it doesn’t mean he responds to all.

Hi

I been looking @t the So called, "great commission"....and do you believe that the Baptism in that passage is Speaking about water?

Jesus clearly teaches in John 3:16 that He will save anyone who believes in Him: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish. lost but have eternal life…”. The word “who” includes you and everyone in this world. fruits of the spirit wall art

The Bible says that, if salvation is based on our individual efforts, no one can save "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" - Romans 3: 23. Psalm 143:2 adds that “there is no one righteous before him.” Romans further affirm “there is no one righteous, even if one is not.”
We cannot save ourselves. Instead, we are saved when we trust Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8:9 teaches that “by grace, you have saved me by faith; results of work, so no one can be proud”. We are saved by the grace of God, and grace in its own right is unearned. We are not worthy of salvation; we simply receive it by faith.
The grace of God is sufficient to cover all sins - Romans 5:20. The Bible is also filled with examples of people being saved from the background of their sinful past. The Apostle Paul wrote to Christians who had previously lived in many of their sinful circumstances. The apostle Paul wrote to Christians who had previously lived in various sinful circumstances, including fornication, idolatry, adultery, homosexuality, theft, covetousness, and drunk. But Paul told them that, by salvation, “You were baptized, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit. of our God" - 1 Corinthians 6:9:11.
The Apostle Paul was formerly a persecutor of Christians, he approved of Stephen's death - Acts 8:1 and arrested Christians and threw them in prison - Acts of the Apostles 8:3. He later wrote, “Although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a tyrant, I received mercy because I acted thus when I did not understand and believe But God's grace has been poured out upon me, along with faith and love in Jesus Christ. Here is the word that is trustworthy and worthy of acceptance by all: Jesus Christ. I have come into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.” - I Timothy 1:13-15.
God often chooses to save those who seem unworthy to serve His purposes. He saved a criminal on the cross with only a few minutes left to live - Luke 23:42-43, a persecutor of the church (Paul), a fisherman who denied Christ (Peter), a Roman soldier and his family - Acts 10, a runaway slave (Onesimus in Philemon), and many others. There is no one beyond His ability to be saved - Isaiah 50:2. We need to respond in faith and receive His gift of eternal life.
Who will be saved? One thing is for sure - you can, if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior! If you are not sure if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you can respond now with a prayer like this:
“Lord, I realized that I am still a sinner and cannot get to heaven by my own merits. I now put my faith in Jesus as the Son of God that He died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Please forgive me for my sins and help me to live for You. I thank You for accepting me and giving me eternal life.”
I thought it was Romans 10:9-10 that got us saved.

Hi

I been looking @t the So called, "great commission"....and do you believe that the Baptism in that passage is Speaking about water?
Of course it is. Christ commanded that the baptism be administered by men.….Go teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, son, and HG.
Men dont administer Holy Spirit baptism. Then in Acts 2 we find where Peter commanded his audience to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. Then it says that ….they that gladly received his word were baptized. This pattern is then followed throughout acts. Chapters 8,10,16,18,19,22
In acts 8 the Eunuch said…..here is water, what hinders me from being baptized?
In acts 10 Peter said….who can forbid water that these should not be baptized.
In acts 22 Saul is told to…..arise and be baptized and wash away his sins.
Baptism in the NT is water baptism unless the context dictates otherwise.

God doesn't always respond to our prayers either.
He answer could always be:
YES
NO

If a sinner cries out to God for help...
God will certainly help him.

Do I need to post tens of verses that plainly state:
"SEEK ME AND I SHALL BE FOUND."

Prayer is a form of seeking.

I don't see anything in Romans 10 about repenting. Do you?
No. Well i guess all of the other passages that require repentance are just nonsense and we dont need them..
Yeaa for Rom 10:9-10
But now that i think about it…Rom 10:13 requires one to “call on the name of the lord” for salvation. I guess this doesn’t count either since it cant be found in Rom 10:9,10.

Dont you have to ”seek” God on his terms? Do you get to just do what ever you want then call it…”gospel”?
Jesus said….
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
John 5:30
This isnt the christian world today. People seek God in the way they want to and not according to his will. They do it the way they think is best and then claim…….Jesus has to accept it. I dont think so.

Yes you are right. That again must prove that no one has to repent in order to be pleasing to God. Just continue living in whatever sin you care to pursue.
Sin? I don't have sin. Have you not read "whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

Christ baptized me when the spirit of Christ entered my body. I did not need to do anything before men.
Matthew 10:32 kjv
32. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

IMHO Matthew 10:9,10 comes after repentance, and is about Jesus.

You are going to be a challenge.

Order of operations:
Step 1 - need for repentance
Acts 2:37 kjv
37. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Step 2 repent
Step 3 receive Jesus as Lord and savior
Step 4 receive Holy Spirit
Acts 2:38 kjv
38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

1. Repent for sins against the Father
2. Saved through work of Jesus
3. Receive the Holy Spirit that you might have power to be a witness.

Now I have read you think trinity is not a word in the Bible.
1 repent
2. Believe in Jesus
3. Be empowered

Great commission:
Matthew 28:19 kjv
19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

All things. I guess nothing left out.

I tend not to think of baptism as only a physical act, but being immersed in the completeness of knowledge of:
1. The Father
2. The Son
3. The Holy Spirit

All things
