But sometimes experiencial feelings will confirm the presence of God...and every person of God in the bible had experiencial feelings at some point or another.

Jesus never talks about these kind of feelings. He says believe what Jesus did miracles. They are actual things. We should recognise our actual changed lives. not the feelings.
I don't know how to seperate a "changed" life from a true experienced emotion, they usually go together.
I would question a changed life that didn't come with an experienced feeling.
Unless you are a piece of cardboard or a robot.

I did not get much impression of changed life from your post. I have heard many emotional tesimonies without actual changed life details.

The Holy Spirit is referred to as the earnest. Did you ever hear of earnest money? It means downpayment and our corruption doesn't put on incorruption until after we leave this body.

Would you elaborate your point please?

Where does the Bible say that Holy Spirit is earnest?

2 Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

2 Corinthians 5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing [is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

'Earnest of our inheritance' would be the same as a downpayment. "..until the redemption" means that there is a future redemption.

What are these Scriptures have to do with what I was talking about?

They answer your question as reflected in the quote.

I get the feeling the only lives that are changed and fruitful to you are those who agree with you. :-?

Good day destiny

the word tells us not to lean on our own feelings but on the words of God.

The people I know who become Mormons have a life change, and are quite emotional about it, the people I know who are taken in by that "A Course in Miracles" are also very emotional and have a life change.

We must rely on Gods word FIRST and our feelings second only. Feeling can be wrong and often are, and it is very dangerous to get caught up in them so much, they will out rule the word of God.

If you "feeling" lines with Gods word then great, but if it does not then you have something to be concerned with.

For example this "slain in the spirit" thing is completely feeling and experiencial, there is not a single thing in the word of God to support that this have any realy spiritual value.

And even more when carefully examined this practice is much closer to Hindu and other eastern thought religons. But people "feel" as if God is is in it and so they do it with out question and praise God for it, and give testimony to it.
