Call No Man Father

Apparently we've strayed off topic so I'll close my part with this. Because I've accepted Jesus as my savior and trusted in the assurance of that salvation completed totally by his death on the cross, I know of absolute certainty that I will live with him in Heaven. Hope to see all of you there. Again, adios.
Luke 18:13-14

Thanks, but no thanks.
Were that the only issue with catholicism, you might be on the right track.
But the other several dozen points accumulate into a tsunami.
Like what? Thanks

God is our Spiritual Father.
The church is a sheepfold and Christ the good shepherd appointed shepherds, spiritual fathers to feed the sheep and care for our souls, yes?

So now the shepherds are the fathers of their sheep ?
Sounds sick to me.
God is the only Father of those reborn of Gods seed.

1 Peter 5:4
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Lower shepherds are required?

Jn 21:17

Spiritual Fathers have care for our souls!

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Jn 21:17 feed my sheep:

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Heb 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, (apostles) who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, (apostles) and submit yourselves: for they care for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

1 Tim 1:2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you

1 John 2
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.

That makes Paul and John spiritual fathers, pastors of our souls!

Thanks

Where in the Bible does it say that everything Christ did and taught, or everything we are to believe is restricted to the Bible. (read John 21:25, that says that not everything Christ did and taught is in the Bible. Yet Matt. 28:20 has Christ commanding the Apostles to teach all that He taught them. In fact, the New Testament wasn't decided until the late 4th century, when the Catholic Church went through over 300+ documents, praying to the Holy Spirit for guidance, and coming up with the 27 books we all agree on are the New Testament.

Christ didn't write a book to spread His truths, He founded a (one) Church, the Catholic Church, to do so. It would have been useless to found a Church based on a book, since the vast, vast majority of humanity was illiterate for the first 18+ centuries of Christianity. That would have effectively eliminated 95+% of humanity from learning Christ's message.

You might also review 2 Peter 1:20-21, where St. Peter warns against personal interpretation of Scripture.

Who says we have the right to decide these things? Christians must be taught:

Lk 1:4
Matt 28:19
Lk 10:16
Jn 20:21
Acts 8:31
Colossians 2:7

Truth must be revealed by God thru Christ to His church (the apostles Jude 1:3) then must be proposed by the church, (Matt 28:19 gal 3:23) without error by the Holy Spirit! (Jn 16:13) one faith (eph 4:5) the faith delivered to the apostles (Jude 1:3)

Matt 16:18-19 shall not prevail against the one holy catholic and apostolic church founded by Christ!

Christ ascended yo heaven who did He appoint to administer His kingdom and teach and sanctify all men unto eternal salvation?

Thanks

So many words used to refute the Lord's words.
Call no man your father.

He is rebuking the Pharisees for spiritual pride
Jn 4:20 Jesus does not rebuke her for calling men fathers????

He rebukes them for calling dying mankind Holy Father on earth the Holy See, Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Patriarch of the West, Primate of Italy, Metropolitan Archbishop of the ...

Jesus the Son of man the apostle never called Josef Holy Father, Holy see neither did Peter our brother in the Lord or Mary our blessed sister address the earthly father with a multitude of attributes Power that can only come from our unseen Holy Father . Why not simply obey the living word as it lovingly commands us??

Why try and add confusion that only causes wondering?

And for 1200 years there was only one church.
Which church is that the one beginning with Abel the first prophet sent as apostle murdered by his brother Cain. Abel the first listed martyr. That beginning?

The Christian church that we belong to today, no matter which denomination,
had a beginning AFTER Jesus ascended back to the Father.

Which church would you say it is?

I'm firmly convinced that it's the CC.
This is not to say that I agree with all the doctrine, or that I am even Catholic,
however, there was NO OTHER church around in those days.

That is where the problem begins looking at the temporal dying things of this world and not by faith the unseen eternal things of God.

failure to rightly divide the parables the signified understanding using the tools designed below to give us the understanding hid from the lost

2 Corinthians 4:18King James Version While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Look to what they teach using a female deity queen mother of heaven named after of blessed sister in the Lord, Mary

They teach that she alone received the fullness of grace the whole cost of salvation. . . the rest of the planet unknow remnant of grace (forgiveness) with no end of faith. . the salvation of one's soul in sight One must suffer, wonder. . suffer and wonder. etc

Believers receive the end of thier salvation of the soul from the beginning the fullness of Grace

They that trust a in female deity become graceless. No forgiveness

Can you show me where in Catholic teaching Mary is said to be a female God? (Goddess).
Thanks.

Also, I have no idea what the above has to do with my post.
I was speaking about the CC being the FIRST church after Jesus ascended.
