It's a religion to people that go through the steps in an effort to get into heaven, and in the since that it's a "major world religion", but to the people that love and follow Jesus, it's not treated as a religion, it's a relationship with Him.Yes, christianity is a religion.
It's a relationship ;)
Furthermore religion is man's quest to find God whereas Christianity is God's quest to find men!
Christians are afraid of the word "religion" because the meaning has been changed by our society, but it is a religion. We can say we aren't "religious" because we're afraid of what that word has come to mean, but a long time ago, there was nothing bad implied by saying you were religious. Personally, I stopped being afraid to use these words quite some time ago. I won't let society change the meanings for me.
Yes, christianity is a religion.
it doesnt matter if religion is man made or not. If the shoe fits, wear it. Christianity fits snugly into a "religion" sized shoe.
There are plenty if you want to dig deep enough. Both are covered in skin, both have bone under the skin, both are part of a living (or once living, we could be talking about a dead persons finger and a dead elephant) thing.
How about this one. Both of them are the result of evolution.
I've heard that more times than I can count, but it's wrong. By every definition of religion that I've ever seen, Christianity is a religion.Christianity is not a religion. Has any of us heard about this before? Is that something strange? Critical examination of the word of God clarifies that.
