Wow that's sad. If she was dying anyways then what would be so bad about letting her loved ones see her one last time? :crying

That's a situation where nothing takes away my civil liberties not matter who or for what reason. I would personally take the penalty even if meant prison. Nothing and no one could stop me.

Wow,.. you definitely have a lot of guts that's for sure. As much as I would want to be able to say it I don't think that I could possibly be as brave as you are.

No one ever has the right to tell someone else they cannot visit there own family member who only has weeks to live.
Well...
There are a few of those "other" family members...the ones that you always cringe when they are around...that you wouldn't mind so much if they would just go ahead and kick the bucket during this crisis.

I might even consent to visiting them if I knew for a fact that they were actually going to die. But you also know that they won't...they are just too mean to die.

But what is so brave or gutsy what I said. What is so bad that I said. All I'm saying in a situation like that with my family if they wanted to see me and I went to visit them what is the problem.

The only time I would not visit is if a doctor or some medical professional said it was not safe to do so.

True,.. but I meant that it was gutsy risking prison.

If you live in Minnesota the islamic call to prayer is going to be blasted and echo around the city 5 times a day during Ramadan.

I guess in our hip modern church era they don’t do church bells?
Do they have any decibel limits on the calls to prayer?
I do believe freedom of religion requires a significant degree of accommodation for genuine practices of religion. Even minority ones.

Having heard both .I'm sure at 0430 am,0530,0830,1130,and 1400.is ok.these last 5 minutes .church bells at most one minute .never heard a church bell before 7 am.

I do think we have to stretch a bit to accommodate.
A large property near me was purchased to convert the mansion into a combination Buddhist and Hindu temple. The house is far off the road. They rarely have actual gatherings. Usually people just go when they want to meditate or worship. So traffic isn’t a real issue. People around here freaked. It’s a rural area. I have Christian friends very upset. Basically the line was “This is a Christian Nation, we shouldn’t let this happen”.

As long as it's within the decibel range and not at 4:30am when I'm sleeping I have no problem with people doing what they want.

If it's at 4:30am and wakes me up and then an hour later again at 5:30am a rewakes me up I would not be impressed.
