Also, even if the health system is great, it's just not ready for this.Like I said once before 1% of a population is still a lot of people, that's how you have to look at it.
All cases that had a outcome combined is about 20% death although some health systems are better than others. That's massive and why it must be taken seriously. The more this spreads the more people suffer even if the % is low it's still a lot of people.
It's not a time to just think of ourselves.
There aren't enough ICU units which is the problem in Northern italy.
Some patients are being sent to Germany and other hospitals in Italy.
It takes time to set up an ICU department. People that go to the hospital go because they have to be intubated (?) otherwise they're told to stay home and isolate themselves even from other members in the same home...different bath, bedroom, etc.
