DO NOT BE SURPRISED (A Word Of Warning For The Time To Come)

Did Jesus not say to be ye as children?

Matthew 18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Children don't spend their time establishing the doctrines and traditions of men, nor do they attempt to justify their beliefs according to those doctrines; instead children are known to question those doctrines.

I'm sorry, but I believe that you have a poor attitude about this. Your making demands that I answer you not because you want to know what this veil is, but your waiting impatiently so you can sit in judgement over the word that I speak. But how can one hear the word of God when they are sitting in judgement over it?

I will tell you what this second veil is, the veil that keeps the reading of the old testament hidden unto this very day. I will give you the scripture that identifies this veil, but if your heart is not ready to receive it, then it shall remain hidden from you.

2 Cor 3:12-16
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

The vail that is upon their hearts, even unto this very day, is NOT the vail that was rent in a Temple of stone that no longer stands. The vail that remains upon their hearts and keeps their minds blinded when the old testament is read is the "flesh" of Christ. When you worship for a God the image of a man, then the vail shall remain upon the heart. The very first commandment says you shall make no image, for God is Spirit; but you shall remain blinded when you hold in your heart the image of a man for a God.

Romans 1:21-22
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man,

Hebrews 9:3
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

Hebrews 10:19-20
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

His flesh is the veil that concealed the WORD, but that temple was destroyed.

2 Cor 3:15-17
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Now it is you that sits in judgment of me having a bad attitude because all I want to know is what you believe the second veil is that you brought up in the first place!!! Where did I ever demand you tell me anything.

Now, was it so hard that you could not reveal what the second veil means to you in the first place where you mentioned it.

Jesus was the word of God come in the flesh, John 1:14. The veil between Jesus and man was that man only saw Him as a prophet teacher. It would not be till Jesus ascended that the Holy Spirit was sent down to indwell those who were made spiritually renewed by God's Holy Spirit, John 14:26.

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

The Jews could not understand because the veil that blinded their heart was that of only knowing the writings of Moses as they only saw Jesus as another prophet teacher sent to them. The temple of His body was the word of God come in the flesh. Many would not come to realize this until after three days when He was raised from the dead.

Why would you think the antichrist will come to repentance?

I have looked and looked from one translation to the next, I even tried looking up a Greek interlinear, but I was unable to find the word "aintichrist" used anywhere in 2 Thes 2.

Perhaps you can explain to us exactly who it is that requires salvation in Christ? What is it of that a man should come to repentance in the first place?

Notice that the coming of the lawless one is according to Satan.

according to the working of Satan.

If I mentioned these names:

The Lamb of God
Prince of Peace
Alpha and Omega
The Savior
The Messiah
The Redeemer
King of kings
The Holy One
The High Priest
The Truth
The Way
The First and Last

Who would I be referring to?

Please explain how this man of sin does signs and wonders inside Christian’s rather than from the temple in Jerusalem?

No one who has the Spirit of Christ in them and knows and belongs to Jesus can be deceived into following the beast.

The third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” 12This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God "who keep his commands" and remain faithful to Jesus.

Not all who call themselves Christians belong to Jesus.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

The powerful delusion is allowed into the world as judgment for the unbelievers and those who refuse to repent of their evil ways.
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

They will not repent for those who willfully take the mark and worship the beast have earned the 2nd death.
They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

The beast and false prophet will both be thrown alive into the lake of fire.
But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

There are true Christians who remained faithful to Jesus.
And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.

The man of sin is not the one doing the signs and wonders. The man of sin is the one receiving these signs and wonders as part of the strong delusion that is sent unto him.

The man of sin is not the one doing the signs and wonders. The man of sin is the one receiving these signs and wonders as part of the strong delusion that is sent unto him.

The man of sin, the son of perdition and the lawless one are all the same person.

  • the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
Notice the context is the revealing. The revealing is a time marker that brings clarity to the greater context of the coming of the Lord.

  • only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed

It’s this revealing that contextually links these three names as being all the same person.

The false messiah.

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8

The false prophet a man acts and performs signs behalf of the beast (the angel of the abyss) . Satan also shall give his authority to the angel who will ascend from the abyss. The false prophet and his armies will invade the Holy Land he will be allowed to kill the two witnesses after their testimony has been completed. (1260 days) The false prophet or man of lawlessness will be allowed to perform miraculous signs even calling down fire from heaven so those that took joy in the killing of the two witnesses will be deceived into following the beast and be destroyed as a judgment against them. Because they had not believed and repented of their evil ways and Rev 11 was the last warning given so that if any had even a shred of faith or love of God in those days to be saved they will be saved. As God is a just and loving God. Together those armies of man and the beast and the dragon visible and invisible are destroyed by Jesus and His armies as Jesus pronounces judgment in favor of the saints on the last day. Jesus will appear suddenly and with great surprise to the unbelievers like a thief in the night. One moment they will be laughing and taking joy in their destroying others stating "who can make war with the beast" and in a instant be destroyed. The saints still alive who have survived the beasts and wars will understand what is taking place as they read their scriptures and believed what God had stated beforehand what wold happen. They will be caught up and clothed with immortality. They will understand those that take the mark of the beast and worship his name will earn the 2nd death. And many will lose their lives only to save their lives in those days. And blessed are those who die in the Lord in those days.

The problem is that many of these endtime pastors teach a one single capital "A" antichrist. Nowhere in scripture does it speak of just one, but that there are many. Antichrist is anyone who opposes God and His Son Christ Jesus. Those who only give lip service to the Lord are also antichrist as they are none of His, Romans 8:5-14. The last antichrist that Satan works through is the lawless one, man of sin called the son of perdition in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-13 that will be revealed in the end of days, but yet already working iniquity until he is revealed to the world.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

This statement does not line up with what Jesus said about the Sower and the seed.

20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Matthew 13:20-21

  • but endures only for a while.

Jesus teaches us concerning this very time of the great tribulation that those who endure to the end would be saved.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:9-14

  • But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

It is those who are faithful unto death who will receive the crown of life.

...Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10

I’m not following your point, brother.

He who endures or believes to the end of their persecution or tribulation which in most cases means the end of their life, will be saved.

The world can't see or know this:
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

Those that have the Spirit of Christ in them can't be "deceived" into following the beast. Its highly unlikely one who "knows and loves" Jesus would worship the beast and choose eternal death.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.”

Those that have the Spirit of Christ in them can't be "deceived" into following the beast.

If a born again Christian can go from a person of love to a person who begins to hate because of the increase of lawlessness, in which they no longer abide in Him, then it is possible they can be deceived into following the false messiah.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12-13

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3

15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

Yes as Jesus so plainly says in the verse you quoted, the promise of eternal life and not being snatched out of the Fathers hand is for those who meet the conditions of verse 27.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. John 10:27-28

  • My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Hear His voice refers to listening with the intent of doing what is heard.

IOW, Sheep that hear His Voice and follow do not become lost.

Sheep who hear and follow, do not get snatched out of His hand.

A sheep who wanders away from Him, because they stopped hearing and obeying His voice, will become lost.

Jesus taught this very plainly.

I know you have heard of the prodigal son and the parable of the lost sheep.

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7

  • Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’

  • likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents
than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

The same language is used to describe the prodigal son.

It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’
Luke 15:32

  • How do you define “lost”?

according to the working of Satan.
The man of lawlessness is destroyed by Jesus (not by human armies) The stern faced king in Daniel also comes to His end (not by human armies) and the beast and false prophet in Rev come to their end (not by human armies). Zech 14 also depicts invading armies being destroyed by the Lord. That is all cohesive.

There is only one last day with the battle of God almighty.

I disagree that those who are born again can be snatched away from Jesus. And be deceived into unknowing that He lives. The one in us is greater than the one in the world.

Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord Lord will ENTER into the kingdom of God only those who do the will of His Father.
To me those who continue to do evil after the knowledge of the truth or start denouncing Jesus are those who NEVER knew Him despite what they may claim. For there are those now who claim left Christianity for other faiths which deny Jesus. Claiming they saw the light.

Am I correct in saying you believe it’s impossi for one of His sheep to become lost?
