Does God LOVE everybody

You were unsaved at one time. Aren't you glad God loved you and included you in His plan of salvation for the world?
  • Christ died for the ungodly.
  • But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8

How can anyone read these scripture and think God sent His Son to die for people that are supposedly already saved? The elect?

Could you provide a verse where Jesus or His Apostles taught us that God hates the unsaved.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved
. John 3:16-17
Whats the difference ?

The ungodly sinners are the elect?

Sinners are those who are ungodly and are separated from Christ? Hebrews 7:26

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
Nevermind.

You do not get it.

Not if you mean for every single ungodly sinner who has ever lived or ever will live.

John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
John 10:26 . . . you are not of My sheep, . . .
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil . . .

I do not believe that Jesus died for the ungodly goats or tares.
Elect ungodly sinners were given to Jesus by the Father (John 17:6) and Jesus came and laid His life down for them.

Ok.

Could you show the scripture that teaches us the difference between ungodly sinners and elect ungodly sinners?

Here is what Paul taught us about the elect -

Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2 Timothy 2:10

  • I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation

Paul said he endured all things, all kinds of suffering for the sake of the elect, that THEY ALSO may obtain salvation.

Who else besides the elect has salvation?

Whats the difference ?

Here was my question -

  • Could you provide a verse where Jesus or His Apostles taught us that God hates the unsaved?

So some sinners are born under the Love of God and some sinners are born under God's hate. Its brought forth clearly also in Rom 9:11-14

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth )

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

Jacob as all the Elect of God are born sinners under the Love of God, and Esau as all the reprobate, the non elect, are born under the hate of God.

Many will say because of this that God is unrighteous ! 8

Could you show the scripture that teaches us the difference between ungodly sinners and elect ungodly sinners?
You won't accept one and just ask for another Scripture that teaches X, Y and Z as if the Scriptures were written as an exhaustive encyclopedia.

Non-elect ungodly sinners:
Rom 9:22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,,

Elect ungodly sinners:
Rom 9:23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

John 10:26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.
John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

This is plain and simple. I think most just let it go in one ear and out the other.
Let's put it into a logical formula.
(Y) = You or the subject being talked about
(B) = Believe
(H) = hear my voice
(F) = follows
(MS) = My sheep

Y does not do B because Y is not a MS or more simply
Y not B because Y not MS
MS
does do H, B and F because he is a MS

Whatever

Non-elect ungodly sinners:
Rom 9:22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,,

Elect ungodly sinners:
Rom 9:23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

True Dat, I agree
