Well it does say there will be great earthquakes in diverse places. But you are correct it does not say that the numbers of overall earthquakes will increase.

As Reba pointed out though that word means 'shaking/commotion' so Rev 16:18 could mean anything from a huge storm to an earthquake.

I think that the original word of faith message had a lot of truth in it but it became perverted. For instance number one(1)the original idea was to approach God with complete faith and no doubt(that is good). (2) the original idea,a christian could be healed by God by the prayer of faith(good).(3)the original idea, speaking God's scriptural words places you in a position to receive from God(good).(4)the story of Job as an example of someone who failed in his faith is totally ridiculous and was always ridiculous(bad). Five,six,seven, and eight are total lies and I do not think they were a part of the original word of faith message(at least I never heard them).

Old Israel had END TIME for them. But it was not False Teachers that was the problem.

And 'i' suspect that Christ told us the problem with them in Matt. 23:3

'All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; [but do not ye after their works: for they SAY, AND DO NOT]'.

And surely this was none of the Rev. 17:1-5 gange. But the last Eph. 4:5's 'One Virgin Fold' Laodicea.

But, bottomline finds that Truth must accompy OBEDIENCE! So that is one more way of the false teacher seen.

Dear friends, I would not say that Benny Hinn is the only false teacher.

According to Roman Catholicism, Martin Luther, John Wycliffe, John Calvin, are false teachers. Eastern Orthodoxy would agree.
According to some Protestants, Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy has false teachers.
According to Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism is in heresy and schism because of its misinterpretation of John 15:26 and Matthew 16:18 and some other issues.
It all depends upon WHO YOU ASK who is a "false teacher", Remember, even a false teacher may teach SOME TRUTH.
Many cult leaders like Herbert W. Armstrong and the teachers of the Jehovah's Witnesses question Darwin's theory of evolution.
We must be patient and not just say things that are false, lest any one of us fall into false teaching. Without prayer and Bible study, anyone can be lead astray from the truth taught in the Bible. In Erie PA Scott H.

The pre-Tribulational rapture of God's people does not constitute the second coming of Christ, so two or even three 'comings' is erroneous because it is unbiblical, and is contentious, and based on a rejection of it without bothering to comprehend.
